Those two positions have been the problem this season.

Left Edge: couldn’t sign a backrow forward after Schuster got the boot, the band aid solutions couldn’t hold on in Ben T, Lawton and Waddell.

Hooker: Simpkin he should get first crack next season, one of the younger players may kick on from Flegg in O’Donnell and Lenaz if they get a chance to play NSW cup.

Need two backrowers added to the squad and an Alpha prop if they can’t sign Lodge.

If it was freeing up coin Alioia and Garrick could be shopped.

We were comprehensively outplayed, but I don’t think the margin of difference is as big as people think.

If there was one area I’d be focusing on in the off-season, it’s the wrestle. We just don’t win the ruck defensively.

The biggest frustration for me is that the game is refereed differently in finals. I ask myself, why invest emotionally and financially in a game that is adjudicated differently in the regular season versus the finals?

2021 we were awesome.

2024 we have a better roster than both those years but very little structure or internal strength. Comes form the top and our top is rotten. Imagine a Todd payton or ciraldo with this roster.

Our right edge needs a clear overhaul. Hooker is a given. A full body replacement for Turbo. Get Jake to start off-loading and hitting them under the ribs again in defence. Another Paseka type off the bench that can really bend that line. Get rid of Josh A.

A poor last month has cost them any credibility they have earned this season. They played their GF the previous week against a team that has been dodging the spoon for the last few years. Croker has no attacking skills Garrick can't tackle and the officials throw out the rule book for the finals I am glad it is over as Melbourne next week was a scary thought.

We need to mark and measure our players not against what they do against lesser teams, but what they provide against the good teams. Garrick, Jake, Aloiai, Croker all need reviewing and shopped. Paseka for mine is safe for now, but not far off it. He was dissapointing tonight.

I am not happy but I dont think we were THAT terrible tonight...

We lost 2 players to HIA in the first 20 sec yet if Talau had not missed his assignment we would have lead by 4 maybe 6... then Lawton drops a ball cold 20m out and from then on the Roosters got a bunch of piggy-back calls and we were stuck on the treadmill...

Not saying we were not outplayed because at times we genuinely were and I think some of our players got genuinely exposed in their positions... I just reckon that there were some sliding door moments that did not go our way and we were behind the 8-ball all night...
