Slater Knob Fest

Nah, that's David Tennant. Though he did play Alec Hardy in Broadchurch.

He was born David McDonald but took "Tennant" as his stage name (which he got from Neil Tennant, the Pet Shop Boys frontman).

He also told his parents (at age three) that he wanted to become an actor because he liked Dr Who!

Now, where were we?

Yes, Slater is a knob.

He should get an extra week for all the blatant lying he is doing. "Oh I thought he was going to step inside... Oh I thought blah blah blah)
He was great in Jessica jones and that dead kid show I can't remember but billy should be allowed to play. If it was a body check chasing a kick down field maybe but you can't rub him out for that. I don't like slater but he is the best fullback of the modern era. Deserves his obligatory Churchill medal. You react like that and stop when a player is out of play. You keep driving and get your arms around him if he is five metres away from the sideline.

There I just won the dude his right to play. Should have given this teaching thing away and moved into nrl lawyering.

Billy defense lawyer Ghabar: "What I'm putting to you – this is a situation where a player did not make a conscious decision to use his shoulder.

"The initial contact was on his left pec. It didn't include his left shoulder. He told you the contact was with the left pec.

"I have no doubt that what sent Feki three or four metres over the sideline was the hips colliding.

"This is not a traditional, if there is a type of thing, shoulder charge.

"This is not a traditional shoulder charge where players are running directly at each other and players have set themselves. You need to pay specific attention to the angles provided to you."

I agree with your dislike rating

No mate you should have been a journo...you sound just like them.

This is Ryan Hall scoring for England against Australia at Wembley in the 2011 Four Nations......

Take a look who comes across and tries to do exactly the same type of hit he put on Feki on Friday night. Though on that occasion it backfired big time because he did his shoulder.

Once a grub, always a grub.

Shoulder charges were legal then - I still think they may be in internationals.

It's all going to plan for the grub. They're currently stocking the private jet with hookers, and cocaine for the trip back. Nothing to see here.

Ghabar is still arguing Slater's case: "It could not be said that player Slater was careless for not getting his left arm in any other position.

"Could anything different be done? You will find this situation was handled in the safest possible manner maintaining a duty of care to himself, player Feki and his team."

Lindner and Cochrane are the sort of judiciary members that don’t listen to bull****. Garlick on the other hand always struck me as a bit of a lair, so he may be a bit flaky.

Did i read right that the judiciary chairman is representing slater against the judiciary.
Is that not a conflict of interest ?
