Plenty of positives , the defence looks well organized and a fair bit of intent in the tackling . Not the most testing defence from the Dogs but points were hard to come by in the first two rounds and some pleasing set plays last night with some better execution and unlucky to not register some more tries . Some good and consistent yardage with the Go forward from all of the middle , kicking game was a bit better . Good signs overall , plenty of ability and class through the playing line up and good confidence booster for the hard grind ahead .

Horhay even showed a little bit of uncharacteristic creativity last night with that centering kick - can't believe Tommy muffed it, he had about 3 chances to pick up/dive on that ball and score

Footy tis back and we had a nice win with no injuries! (just finished watching).

Whatever Tom did during the break, bottle and sell it.

I know Dylan and Des like the Dylan as a 5/8th project, and it is coming along but boy oh boy do I like seeing him in open space. He's such a... terrier when he runs. I'd still be happy if he stayed at centre.

I thought (hard to type this next bit) that Cecchin reffed a pretty good game.

Couldn't believe the number of 6-agains to dogs....
But after checking the stats, seems they went to dogs but only 6-4...
dogs must've got the whole 6 in the last 10 minutes!

As an aside I am prepared to bet that Tommy runs for more metres tonight .. than the total Lattrine has run in his 3 games ... 184m .... any takers ?

No one took me on ..

last night Tom ran 20 times for 189m ... Lattrine has run 19 times for 188m in 3 games ....

Our real test will be against the dominant Eels
Walker is a classical centre and not a classical 5/8 at the moment and I hope he keeps improving because the Eels halves that give their team plenty of attacking options are on fire
