This was a good solid win tonight. The opposition didnt throw much at us and at times Manly were sloppy with the ball especially the first half. I loved the attitude in defence and the skill our backrow has gives our pack amazing balance. Ceccin decided to help the dogs in the last 20 minutes and they got one try from a kick. A bit more composure and if Rueben got his kicking boots on and 50 points was on the cards, Good start, good to get the rust out and now for Whingermatta at worm park, this will be a much better game for Manly to test themselves.

Croker is rubbish, our attack has been great if parts, but still needs some polish, some terrible kicks in attacking positions we really should’ve put at least 50 on them, still, great win
You would think he is only there because of the Faniu situation. Imagine Faniu coming on as he did last year off the bench with these new rules

Most useless pack of muppets ever to wear maroon and white. Sack the lot of em @:p

Seriously: they could have been better tonight but everything lookin on the up. Good structures. Good fitness. Everybody playing their part. Future so bright we gotta wear shades.

If it wasn't Canterbury you could almost feel sorry for them. They have absolutely nothing. They sack their Xfactor players before the comp and have a busted Foran as their only hope.
Someone will still blame Des and the cap for that roster but im sorry. That side is all the current management and coach.

Good win won by plenty but could of got plenty more
Some improvement needed for next but should rise to the occasion
Sometimes you play to level of the opposition and that’s what they did tonight
The 6 again call can influence a tight game , Cecchin was inconsistent in his calls tonight , Get on the wrong side of a ref and he could punish you

Paseka had a tough night but that's his first game in how long? Wasn't he injured at the end of last year as well? If he can get a run of games he will go alright.
DW still isn't a 5/8 in my eyes. Sure he does a job and has some flashes but he doesn't have the ability to be a dedicated playmaker.
Problem is our centre boys are going ok so if he did move back the 4 who misses out?

Big call but apart firm Tommy out best tonight was Levi. I hear a lot of he went ok but come on tonight he was excellent in a new team. He's a Kiwi international so can obviously play a bit. By end of year i recon he could be a gun.
