If we were to be found not guilty Greenberg is arrogant enough to have a caveat on that ruling to include no legal recourse by MWSE against the NRL. The damage and losses are completely quantifiable in a legal sense, but I can't see us not being forced into something like that in order to get the not guilty verdict.

I really hope we go after anyone else we can to cover the damage suffered. It's not only financial and brand damage, it has stifled our recruitment options (Pearce) and not allowed us to have a full squad training together all off season and has rendered myriad other disadvantages on us compared to every other not guilty team in the NRL.

If it was such a clear case that the NRL made it out to be they would have made an announcement sooner. The fact they also release articles that the TPA system needs an overhaul or there are some elements that are ambiguous to me strongly suggests that they cannot definitively pin something on us. If they do rule in our favour they need to show to the public that they have taken some time to deliberate on their decision. The TPA system is such a hot topic at the moment and it has the potential to blow up in Greensprog's face.
