I think $85k is the min payment this year.

Highlights of the agreement include:

- A 52 per cent increase in take-home pay for players over the next five years

- A revised contracting and payment model that provides more certainty, clarity and protection for players

- The average wage of a top 30 player will rise to $330,000 a year while the minimum wage will be increased to $100,000 next year and $120,000 in 2022

- The salary cap will rise to $9.4 million next year and more than $10 million in 2022

- A new Injury Hardship Fund will be set up to support players facing early retirement due to serious injury, replacing the Career Ending Injury Insurance scheme

- Additional time-off during the week for personal development and more certainty around annual leave entitlements

Well they should first start with the Panthers where their very own player admitted that the club was transferring a TPA from Moyza to Maloney.
Highly illegal in terms of TPA's and should have been a red flag for Greensprog and his cronies to go and investigate.
Problem is they would have investigated back when comments were made (by Maloney) if they were serious about TPA's. They just have it in for us .

Basically admitted what was happening straight to the media without a whistle blower and not enough to have all their, laptops, phones etc taken.

Their pi$$weak line of “we didn’t register that contract because of the issue” isn’t the point. The point is there was a blatent mis-use of the TPA’s which means it could be systematic.

But don’t touch a Western Sydney club for fear or negative media or turning supporters toward GWS. Or how about the player-manager issues from the Parra debacle...

Then there’s the media that will jump on anything Manly but then staying quiet with issues that could really have big ramifications for the code as a whole. Suppose generate sales without biting the hand that feeds you.

If they have been planning to close the gap to AFL with Greenburg in charge they have no hope!!

So that is where the money is going. No wonder "football" means AFL in the bush now.

Just signed up my two grandsons for junior footy, $150 each plus $20 for a jersey and what will be two weekly travel to other towns.

Could have signed them to Auskick, free, including uniform and they get a subsidy for away travel.

And you wonder why footy is failing in the bush!

Post this to Rothfield, Kent or Foxsports.
NRL's handout to sCam and JT would have covered these Juniors costs :wait:

I was just going through the official NRL salary cap operations guide when I came across the following in their QA guide (I almost dropped my guts in laughter) :

How can some clubs have so many elite players and still be under the Salary Cap while other clubs at the bottom of the table seem to be just under the Salary Cap?

The reality is the majority of clubs spend the Salary Cap but not all are successful on the field. Someone has to come last and someone has to win, regardless of what they spend.

According to 360 yesterday Penn keeps getting extensions to state his case , so the longer this drags out the limited time for say a Todd Carney gets a workout with his new team mates before kick-off . If we have nothing to hide throw it on the table and get on with it . If this all gets exonerated fmd we have wasted some time . Very Frustrating to say the least.

Our response was pushed through to the NRL around a week or so ago mate. I would imagine potentially this week or the following we might hear something.

Well well
