As I've stated, you don't know anyone's headspace. Someone who comes here, obviously distraught by the clubs current state of affairs, and makes an emotional plea or statement, versus someone who's willing to diminish them as humans are in very different headspaces (when it comes to Manly). Now, you won't get that of course - so there's no reason to continue arguing with you.

The fact robbiea has used thank you, laughing emotives to your comments should tell you how ridiculous you are, because he was the originator of the comments, and certainly hasn't held back either - but that's all okay with you, and you haven't brought those comments up in the slightest.

Best we leave it there. I'm sure you'll attach to someone elses comments to or about me in the near future like one of the otos in a goldfish tank and/or a human paraquat, because that's what you do, as seen here and many, many other examples.

The reason for that, is I'll continue to defend those being picked on or abused here (unlike you), because I'd like those people they aren't alone, we are all feeling the pain when it comes to footy, and we are on this ride together (mostly, besides a few like you, that go all in on koko - like you and robbiea have - you by supporting his views). I on the other hand, will empathise with a 35 year long member of fan, and will attempt to win them back, and give them hope unlike you forum members who've gone all in on the bloke. His post was emotional and frustrated I agree with that.

Telling him to hit the road isn't the response from what is supposed to be a community. I understand that's outside your influence of understanding though - so as I said, I won't respond to you again on this subject.

Maybe he / she was having a terrible day / week / month / year, their one passion and hobby in footy (they feel) has gone to the wolves, and the last kick in the guts for him / her was being minimalized, and who knows what they've done.

By the exact same token what if someone was having a bad day/week/month and a fellow forum member called them...say "a stanky overweight slob".....how would that make you feel?

I think maybe both sides need to take a deep breath and get back to the thread topic. We're lucky to have this site to talk about our team and for me when life gets a bit tough I escape to the forum for a bit of intelligent footy debate (and the odd laugh or two).

That's what we are all here for, hey.

If someone is so distraught about the "current" state of affairs of the club after 3-4 decades of support (who threaten to leave), let's show them some compassion and empathy like you have here, and rally for them. That's what communities do, so I appreciate your feedback.

EDIT: End of the day, we all love the club, and want success. People who are posting on this forum are the people who stick. No chance you can just give up & walk away. Therefore, show them the respect and support they deserve,
