IMO Barrett lost DCE at the presser after the Titans game when DCE was saying the Hasting incident was no big deal when TB then interrupted DCE saying
"Ill answer that for Daly.............." DCE looked less than impressed. Then he TB threw Hastings under a bus when he made that idiotic impromptu interview mid week following the Titans game instead of the players that were scheduled to be interviewed. DCE playing negative football the last few weeks and kicking into touch when we need points is of concern. Something is not okay within the playing group IMO and we can't blame Hastings this time.

I cannot help but think that some on here have an unrealistic expectation of the talent in our roster.



At full strength I had us towards the bottom of the 8 (not far from where we are now) not in the top 4 as many are suggesting.



The turbos, walker, Marty, AFB and maybe Joel T / DCE are pretty much our only players that would challenge to be in some of the higher teams. Sure there is potential aplenty in players like Lane or Kelly but that is not enough to win games at the moment



Simply put, due to cap mismanagement for a number of years, we do not have the talent to cover injuries we have experienced.



This is not to say Barrett could not be doing more however I am not sure there is much of a solution considering the cap and roster situation (apart from throwing in Tom W )

I don't think this is the case. The Turbo's and Koroisau love him, etc. The only players he seems to be on the nose with, are those who don't get picked and that is pretty common in all NRL teams.

Maybe at years end or nearer the end of the season he should be shafted if things don't improve. But he has contributed to this mess and he needs to learn the lesson the hard way. We're out of the finals so lets see if with the pressure on him, he starts to make some innovative moves. I'd give him at least another five rounds for when Walker returns and see if things improve. Otherwise in the short term I would grab that youth coach who has taught some of our next gen juniors out Blacktown/Parra way...cant recall his name, and let him have a go for the last number of games to see how he handles the team.

Trent cannot possibly have a job if his winning % remains the same at years end. And Carty will go too. Like everyone says....we're a club that needs Manly blokes running the show. Not blokes just looking to start a coaching career

It had been previously reported that the Knights were set to re-sign Brown on a five-year deal, but instead, Brown’s contract will be performance-based and not set to a particular time frame.

His gameplans dont exist. But his team selections are the worst in the nrl era. Under 20s premiership winning rake and pivots and neither chosem for first grade in their specialist roles. Looking forward to seeing him pick wright at prop this week so kapow can move to fullback and tommy can play lock so jake can warm the pine. Twenty is an absolute flog. Has shouldered arms vs dragons since he got the gig. Sack him now and everyone of the coaching staff. Lyons caretaker coach til seasons end. Bloke bleeds marron.
