Smh is reporting Shane "love shack" Shackleton is desperate to be at manly before June 30.
Always liked this guy he had a couple of bad injuries but has alof of potiental. Would love to see him at manly but he calls toovs and fwit on facebook he will be dead to me lol

I think the Shackleton signing is a key part of the puzzle in our player retention strategy. I think Parra knows that and that is why they are standing in our way.

Fui Fui Shack is pretty much a no frills player but he can whack in defence & the type of player teammates appreciate for workrate & honesty on the field.
Whare to Penrith - dissapointing & a concerning factor imo.
Have recently lost Robbo, Hoppa, Wolf speculation & unfortunately Lyon will only be around another 2-3 seasons. The 3/4 line is an area that has thinned & Whare looked like a long term future star & also good cover for Snake.
If it was to keep Matai I can cop the call, already a world class centre & an integral long term Seaeagle who has already proved his worth to the club.

SEGEYARO TO MOVE?... It could be a case of contrasting fortunes for the Cowboys over the coming weeks as they look to secure the services of in-form duo Ashley Graham and James Segeyaro for 2013. Graham, the NRL’s top tryscorer this season with 11 tries from 10 games, was recently offered a new deal and is expected to re-sign within days.

The news may not be so good on the Segeyaro front, however, with the exciting young hooker set to spend the bye week in Sydney next week meeting with rival clubs. The Cowboys can expect a fight to keep him – although should he move on it would ensure long-serving clubman Aaron Payne would get the chance at another one-year contract.

Agreed, mate. Losing Whare is a very tough one to swallow. Can't blame the bloke though as he has been constantly overlooked in favour of Taufua & Oldfield, you can under stand if he's a bit PO'd at the whole situation.

Great replacement for Jennings if the rumour is true.

With Inglis, Asotasi, Lima, T'eo, Luke, Merritt, Sutton and Burgess, and only losing Pettybourne and Taylor, Im suprised they'd have the money to make a play on Jennings.

That said Origin Time will hurt the bunnies.

how you've mentioned 3 players (GI is a given, Merritt they'll never pick due to his defence (not his race), Sutton also qualifies for Fiji and don't know where his allegiances are) that are eligible for Origin the rest are Kiwi(well technically Asotasi's Samoan) or English.

Have heard they might be releasing Asotasi in the not to distant future as well

Seems odd to me that Hasler would promote Ennis to captain, sing from the roof tops that he should be the origin hooker, and then cut him.

Ahhh that same MMM team that said Foran to the Dogs, and TRex to the Dogs, and I believe it was Ricky Stuart to coach the Bulldogs.

They have a strike rate of about 5% I reckon, I wouldn't believe a rumour they make.
