Outside of Moose Mossop, I still think the best league commentary team I've heard was the ABC for the Saturday arvo games in the early 90s. Warren Boland and Artie Beetson with John Peard and Debbie Spillane on the sidelines.

We all saw this coming 10 years ago.. sure it was fun to watch Manly win the NYC in the last season, but when every score was a blowout cricket score and tackling was put on the backburner because "attacking footy" was the only thing that mattered, there was no other way the NRL was going to go... All those kids who couldn't tackle to save their lives are now the "stars" of today's game .. no wonder every game is a boring route without any semblance of defence

If Channel Nein was smart it would approach the NRL, which changes rules at the drop of a sombrero, to transfer the Tits to the Donkeys TV matches. The Tits are far better to watch and it should pique some interested from Queensland fans disillusioned with the 'Boys and the 'Broncs.
