Round 17 Manly V Dogs [Round 17 2014]

We were a tad down after a big effort last week against Chooks.
Starling got a knock early and King didn't step up. Pretty obvious King must have been carrying an injury because that is normally exactly the scenario when he would come in and fire up the forwards.

The result was our forwards struggled a lot of the time, and the backs didn't produce enough this time to make up that deficit.

I like the 'loss we had to have, at the right time' comment, all the talk of being comp favourites has immediately been put into perspective.

Not too fazed by last night. Bulldogs were enthusiastic, offside, forward-passing bashers and Manly, and the refs, made some vital errors.
Makes the Tigpies game a must win and Manly can do this.
