Looks a lot better for 2021 if we can gather a side somewhat resembling this. Good mix of youth with experience. I like Funa's confidence and his brick-wall tackle from last week gives me confidence in his defence once he gets better at reading opposition attack. If foz/dce get injured then Schuster comes in so that's good as well. Suli's game should improve astronomically with a real halfback directing us in Foran and DCE's game will go back to where it needs to be where he carries out the killer-punches rather than try organise every single play. Saab isn't really first grade yet but he has potential and I'm sure we'd all be happy to watch his development from rd 1 onwards. I did mention in another thread that I think AJ is a little overrated, however, what I meant by that is that he isn't quite elite (yet, anyways) but also isn't your average winger. Plenty of potential all over the place in that backline, I really like it.

I think it's very wishful thinking that walker and foran will be in the same team (due to the cap). Also thinking that if we are after Saab and Johnston then we will prob only be able to accommodate one of them, unless ofcourse a hopoate has already signed elsewhere.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I'd rather Funa at centre than Walker. He just seems to have very little pace nowadays and a lot less aggression. They were really the only factors that made him a star in early Rabbits career and in 2017. Since 2017 he's steadily declined into an average player imo. If he debuted under an alias in 2018 and played as he has with noone knowing he was the young star he was I think he would be struggling to lock down a first grade spot (except in the bulldogs, tigers and our backline). Too vulnerable in defence and seems to have a contract similar to the more elite backs in the game.

Agreed. Money better spent elsewhere. Funa will be a gun centre next year. Why hold him back. Use Walkers money to buy a hooker
