Garrick is safe I give him that, can you recall the last time he busted the line by going through 2 defenders?

he has nothing in this regard, just Meek

would look much better in a well functioning backline. He is worth keeping but he needs to work on his game and what he can bring to the team.

He has played centre all his junior career. Maybe give him a shot at centre in place of parker. He may surprise
 
Centres need evasive skills, not hesitant stutter steps, he doesn’t have a passing game either. Can’t see updated I’m afraid. Although I’d like to see Schuster and funa in the centre’s over either Parker or Suli

Funa hould be centre and Parker at wing. Parker looked fine under high ball today and would be a better option. Also would mean we definitely won't have a winger coming out of the line... good to get rid of a weakness.

Garrick is a good winger. He is out of form but still worthy of a start. He probably plays fullback with Hoppa out... would really love Metcalf given the jersey instead.

He was bad yesterday, terrible in fact BUT I'm not quite giving up on him yet. It's clear he isn't going to be a good fullback any time soon and he needs to improve his defence big time. I still think he was the makings of an OK player. Jury's out for me...... but I accept I may be in the minority there.

I still like him. He's still young and raw in regards to games player.

There's been worse players this year in games. At least he didn't cover his head instead of playing at a kick like Suli did yesterday 🙄
 
Hmm, it's a tough one regarding Reuben.

Made some really bad errors from kickoffs. Kicking out of the full is really inexcusable in my opinion.

His goalkicking has improved dramatically in the past month or so.

I think Siro and Suli are to blame for Reuben not seeing as quality ball in attack.

Siro seems obsessed with cutting back in the inside and Suli doesn't seem to know how to pass.
 
Made a few errors yesterday but wasn :t the only Manly player to do so . Goal kicking has improved , still a very capable finisher if he is given some decent opportunities . Fill in full back standard essentially , relatively safe but like Elliot with some limitations . Still learning , plenty of natural ability and speed , good club man ,hope to see him in Manly colours on the flank for many seasons to come
 
Garrick needs to go to that running coach and change his running style.
Smaller, light more efficient steps than his current large horsey too large a steps running style.
 
I'm not going to sink the boot into the guy even though the kick offs were Z-grade stuff.

He is a decent finisher who hasn't had a clear run at the line since the disallowed try against the Squeels. And I lay a lot of the blame at Sirro's feet for that. He cuts back in behind the ruck almost exclusively. When Suli actually gets some ball he tries to crash through even when he hasn't gotten early ball.

Garrick is catching a cold in attack.

I will say this though. He is too upright when he hits the defensive line on kick returns or when he takes a tough run close to our line. When he gets his body shape right he actually gets post contact metres. When not, he gets pushed back 5 yards.

Watching George under a high ball is my least favourite part of a game to watch:whew:
