Apart from any issue of preferred wing .... stepping off a preferred foot etc .... one of the reasons I believe Uate was switched is because with late afternoon games he has a perceived greater issue with the ball being lost in the sun than others .... his shocker at Brookie was looking directly up into the sun ....

Right wing is still his preferred wing ... but with this game being played at 6pm ... the sun is an issue again ... but Jorge prefers the right wing ... I mean left ...

Who knows ... I got nothing ....

Big danger game considering the tough win last week and the loss of Api & Walker. As poor as the Raiders are, they have strike players that can turn the game single-handedly. Rapana did that at Brookie last year and almost won it for them. Let's hope the boys turn up and don't drop their effort this Friday.

Was only on for a few minutes but had a few decent runs. If we get a good start then he may see more game time. Baz relies a lot on our more experienced forwards when the game is on the line.

Don't know why have a bad feeling about Friday, think we will take the raiders too lightly ,they have the bye next week playing at home against us with a few key outs for us.

Just think it will be one of those weeks

Walker plays we win. Now it’s 50 /50

Reckon Brown will surprise a few in the 9. He has a nice pass and has seen enough top level footy to keep it simple and just distribute the ball.

In a way his limitations may not hurt us too much in this particular game. APIs strength is defence and searching for holes around the ruck, not his passing. With their weakened pack we just need to keep it real simple and use our two great front rowers to steamroll them in the middle. Brown hopefully will just concentrate on that and our ball control should be good as a result if AFB and Marty think run first.

If we control the ball we tend to win games. Good completions mean we also should be able to stay in a match regardless of what they are doing and the Raiders simply do not know how to close out a tight match.

Raiders have been in every match except the bunnies and us.Pushed Warriors Saints Sharks
and should be a lot higher up the ladder if they could close out.No way are they easybeats.

If we keep it simple I see us winning a tight one.

We wont win without api, he is such a key player for us in such a key position.

Two things you need to do well as a hooker, pass well and intelligently and tackle well. Brown cannot do either of these and will most certainly take more wrong options than right options.
