Api makes 40+ tackles a game and poo makes 20 ? That's 20 + extra tackles covered by our forwards,probably our front row ,the net effect is our forwards will be rotated earlier.
I'm sure it's Api's work rate and stamina that enables our big men to stay on the field longer.
Another big plus with Api is he alway reacts defensively quicker out of marker defence.
If Poo doesn't replicate Api's work rate in these areas it could end up looking disorganised,
I don't think Poo is very fit ,but I hope I'm wrong because we need to keep winning, overall Poo needs to show more urgency in attack as well as defence.
The only thing that lets Api down is his passing from left to right, even his natural right to left looks awkward. ( Damien Ccok's passing game is next level
If poo can pass out of dummy half quicker then Api that would help, but don't give him much hope of going 40/60 tops.

Is Brown match fit? Heard that he was playing off the bench for Blacktown, and he only averaged 5-10 mins per game in NRL earlier in the year. He might be useless after 20 mins with the high work rate required defensively.

He was playing backrow before they bought the Hass and some other bloke. He's played FG for a long time and will be fine this weekend.

I'm sure Baz will give him a role that's suited to what he brings to the team. He has a good pass from dummy half and while he's not the best defensively, he's a lot better in the middle than on the edge. Between him and M Wright, the dummy half role should be covered. Chez and Tom will need to step up to cover the gap in creativity that Api leaves. If both play as well as last week then we should win.

The period against the storm after Walkz and Api got 10 was beyond impressive they really played for each other.
We need to carry that form with us against a hungry Raiders pack seeking revenge.
They know for sure the channel where poo defends could be an opportunity to attack.
Players know in a short space of time who the passengers are ..."come on poo you can do it"

Api May be a loss but Walker is a bigger one. He is not only a great centre, he also inspires the team.Suli has been good and will get better but is basically a steamroller and lacks the speed and agility Walker gives us.

Would like to see Fainu at 9 but little chance that NRL will agree that Hastings and Brown can’t play hooker.

Brown is not as bad in the 9 as some make out. Showed that a couple of weeks ago. No worldbeater but the guy can do the job to a decent standard particularly if we play the power game with AFB and Kapow. It ain’t that hard.

Have to respectfully disagree with that one. I think hooker is a very hard and absolutely critical position to the team. Imo, Api dce jake and Tom are the core of our team.
