thought walker had his best game of the year today, so many tough runs, api defense last 10 mins amazing and gogetski was incredible filling in today at centre

Apis hit on Horsbrough steaming onto the ball 5 metres out was sensational.
Jetski standing up to Wighton in defence and with the fists.
And they tried to bait Walker countless times, he is a changed man under Des’ discipline.
Des had Api and Fainu on together last week. It was a master stroke again today.

In his victory speech after the 1987 Grand Final win, Fatty said that to win a premiership you need plenty of guts and determination.

And like our 1987 side.....this side is full of it.

And a special mention of Walker. He has really surprised me with his discipline and application since shifting into 6. He was all over Seizure today and smashed him a couple of times in the first half with well-timed up and ins.

I cannot express my sense of proudness with this Manly team. They are not only working for each other but Des somehow gives them the resilience to keep on keeping on even though they are blowing hard at an alien home ground. This is a day we need to celebrate my fond feathered friends. We are the real deal without a doubt.

Great win by Manly today ,a bit scrappy at times but to win with injuries and the penalties made a stop start game
Sounds like we will cop some flak about holding down and giving penalties away , well it was a few weeks ago how the warriors slowed down the game to stop us and they got credit for coming up with those tactics to stop us
We won today and did what we had too nothing sinister in it no dirty shots or grubby plays unlike leuila dropping the knees in when you could have avoided him , ps Croker glass house mate
