Luckily our game is Saturday.stand by the Widdop comment........anyone who watches the NRL would pick him over Green every day of the week and twice on Sundays

I will take a more philosophical view on this one feathered friends and say .....Stats are only grossly misleading when they don't help ones argument...
Widdop has been very good this year. It has blown me away TBH. He is playing possibly better this season than any other including his time at Melbourne, and of course, his kicking for two has been exceptional. Some stats are grossly misleading..................and this is definately one of them.
A forced drop out can also mean the kick was poorly placed which allowed the defensive team to clean up, rather than giving our chasers the opportunity to score.
It could also mean that because we do not have much of an attacking aerial game, we are putting in more grubbers than most other teams. A more interesting stat would be success % rather than just totals!!

True but for $300K per season Green balances our team and has helped DCE become the form half of the Comp. He gets us repeat set and got 2 40/20's for us last week. His defence is the area for concern not his attacking plays

Statistics are like Miniskirts as they reveal more than what they hide

The (Sea) Eagle has Landed. Our last gutsy golden point effort against the Warriors was one small win for Manly and if we beat the panthers it will be one giant leap into the semi finals for the mighty Sea eagles !!!

Widdop is your typical English grub though. Honed under Bellamy. Green didn't sip that Koolaid. Some stats are grossly misleading..................and this is definately one of them.

Mate there are Manly supporters & there are those that do nothing but bag the team no matter what..........like I've said numerous times before I wish they'd p@#s off & go support another team.....oh yeah & take Widdop with them! We don't need them.Come on mate, we are on the verge of playing finals. Get behind our boys not continually tear them down.

He also said something along the lines of 'if the forwards do their job' then looked pretty sheepish and tried to backtrack.Walks said that they watched the last 10 minutes of the Drags game.
Widdop constantly kicked for the line drop out, so the Riff never had the ball
Walks said 'I nudged Greeny and said Game Management' 😀
I would argue otherwise.......
His kicking game also been very inconsistent.
I recall many a moment screaming at the TV after a Green kick when we have been on the attack - the Tigers game being the most recent. Towards the end of that game, we were attacking their line and had a few chances to close out the game (ala Widdop) and only succeeded in turning the ball over.
His running game is almost non existent and he cant tackle for f***.
We ain't winning anything with him as one of our playmakers so if we want to spend every season fighting out 8th spot, then it's money well spent!
Except in tackling where Widdop (avg 3.5 per game) misses many more than Green (avg 1.6 per game). Some stats are grossly misleading..................and this is definately one of them.

OUR BACK LINE BIG 3 !!!I'm expecting a big game from Dylan Walker in this one. Just watched his interview on NRL 360 with Sironen, both seem really tight and enjoy each other's company. Siro might just be the key to getting Walker back on track, and a MOM performance from Walks is just what we need to get our season back on track.
