Chez got the money, the Captaincy and the respect of his Team

When do they release the referees? Surely they can't let Perenara do this game, that would be just poor form.

I'll run with Bozo, he gave us a fair go against the Roosters, maybe he is just the best of a bad bunch of shocking refereeing bias and performances over the years, going back to Hartley. He loved Manly.

Walks said that they watched the last 10 minutes of the Drags game.
Widdop constantly kicked for the line drop out, so the Riff never had the ball @

Walks said 'I nudged Greeny and said Game Management' 😀

Unfortunately Widdop is about 3 times the player that Green is...................Green had some decent kicks last week.................two weeks in a row, that's asking a lot!

Sea Eagles regain their winning mojo ahead of Panthers’ showdown
Jon Geddes, Manly Daily
August 29, 2017 4:54pm

SEA Eagles forward Jake Trbojevic said his team’s golden point win over the Warriors was just the tonic team needed to lift them out of their flat patch ahead of Saturday’s crunch game against Penrith on Saturday at Lottoland..

The 22-21 victory came after the team lost four of their previous five games which has left them sitting in eighth spot.

Manly now needs to beat the Panthers to ensure their place in the finals,

“It has been a tough couple of weeks,” Trbojevic said.

“You fall into a bit of a rut when you’re losing at times.

“But to come away with a win (on Sunday) was really special and really exciting and everyone was pretty pumped up.

“Hopefully we can feed off that energy and work really hard this week and come out with a really good performance.

Trbojevic, a proud local junior and clubman, admitted that t has been really tough playing for Manly the last few years not being in the finals.

“We would love to be there for the club and the area,” he said.

“It would definitely mean a lot to not only myself but the whole team.”

The game will also be the final home game at Lottoland for prop Brenton Lawrence who is heading to the Titans next season.

“It’s something I haven’t thought about too much, I might get a bit emotional on Saturday,” he said.

It’s a special place for me Brookvale Oval.”

Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles confirmed yesterday they are taking a home game to AMI Stadium in Christchurch for at least the next two years with an option for a third

Well..... there is also the little fact that he is leading the comp this year in the area of forced drop outs. Which requires him to kick a ball.

Some stats are grossly misleading..................and this is definately one of them.

A forced drop out can also mean the kick was poorly placed which allowed the defensive team to clean up, rather than giving our chasers the opportunity to score.

It could also mean that because we do not have much of an attacking aerial game, we are putting in more grubbers than most other teams. A more interesting stat would be success % rather than just totals!!

I stand by the Widdop comment........anyone who watches the NRL would pick him over Green every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

True but for $300K per season Green balances our team and has helped DCE become the form half of the Comp. He gets us repeat set and got 2 40/20's for us last week. His defence is the area for concern not his attacking plays
