A weakened warriors Bear?? I know this has been mentioned but we were more weakened than they were and the Warriors beat the Titans albeit at full strength. I don’t think we win, I just want to see us have another good dig. The lineup is much improved with Tom and Guac in. I watched the Titans knights Kayo mini yesterday and fair go sone of those knights efforts were as bad as I’ve seen. Fafita made a break and Tge Centre was not even running to try get him, just jogging back. And the try off the tap! I think we will be a far tougher challenge for them than Newcastle last week. Let’s hope we get a win.

Yes Waz we were weakened against the Warriors. I was only stating that to compare with the game Manly are to face against a more full strength Titans who just whipped a pretty decent Newcastle side. I'm not disputing the fact Manly put in against the Warriors, which was a damn sight better than the last dozen or so matches. This Sea Eagles side has some very good players. It also has some quite average players, who try hard when the chips are down such as last weekend, but are not likely to get us into the 8. We do have the assets that could get us there, but Des refuses to use them. I hope Manly win this weekend, I just have a sense that last week was a special effort that some of them will struggle to repeat. Certainly having Turbo back will be a huge plus that may turn the tide though.

It's all about confidence.
Surely the team gained confidence in the win over the Worriers.
Surely individual players -- particularly the playmakers -- will gain confidence from knowing that Turbo is back and awaiting every half-chance.
I'm a big fan of the way the Tits are playing so I think they will be a little too slick for us in Mudgee, but I do expect us to play a lot better and an upset is a distinct possibility.

Yes, I saw that game when he got hurt and I'm surprised he is back so soon.

Tommy hasn't played since his last comeback which was far from inspiring (and there was a big gap between his last game previous to that)... hope we aren't putting too much pressure on him too early! Don't expect a miracle turn around but hopefully we give an decent account of ourselves and turbo makes it through the game in one piece!

Yep had a filthy one, 35 years later it’s still a passenger, I don’t know how these boys heal so well these days but I hope it’s right and he gets through the game without a hiccup, I’d love to see him have a big one and end up in the starting side every week, then partner Sua next year and there’s a second row combo you’d look forward to watching every week.

Well here’s the thing , I’m actually away in the caravan now !

A very short 3 night trip just to check the systems as the van lives undercover from the end of September to about now.

Heading off for a quick 2 week extra check ar the end of the month, then off for three months from the middle of June.

So let’s see , I’m away this week , we’ll win , back next week , we’ll lose.

Good news for Manly, not so good for the Tits. Phillip Sami looks set to be ruled out as he is still suffering effects of the head knock he took last week against the Knights. His expected replacement will be Jonus Pearson for his first NRL game of 2021.
