Just heard some late mail (Wackos) and it is rumoured Guaca is going to start left edge and Shoe is going to flip over to right edge.

That raises two interesting points, Schuster and DCE on same side in attack - wonder how that dynamic will work ? More interestingly we will have a completely new defensive combo of DCE, Shoe and Harper trying to contain Fifita and Kelly.

Here’s one for ya. Pearson was on the wing for dragons when Tommy returned at brookie back in 19 following his hammy injury. And we know how that turned out! Gee I want to see Tommy carve up in sat

Fifita carving up the left side looks like Jonah Lomu running over pommy rah rahs. The only answer is to limit the times the Titans can get him open. If Tommy T is left to take Fifita alone he will do his shoulder and Manly's season.

Let’s not worry about the Titans. They should be worried about Guac running off Foz. Holy Dooly that sounds good.

He usually plays left, or at least the few times I've seen him. Will be a tall order either way.

This is the best team we have fielded for a long time. Thanks, injuries! Shame no D-Walks to centre finally, but otherwise is pretty spot on.

Lets just remember something here. It'll be Guac's first game in over a month and it will only be Turbo's second game in about 12 months and both are coming off major injuries. We don't know how Guac's arm will hold up in a full contact game, and the same with Turbo's hamstrings and shoulder. While we all hope they will be a big difference, the reality is both will be short of a gallop and both will be rusty no matter how much training they've done.

I hope we win, but lets not expect miracles. Being honest, at this stage I am more just hoping that both, especially Turbo, get through the game without any setbacks (i.e. another injury).

How much would you have said the panthers would have beat the Broncs by last night? I would have said minimum 30. You never know in these games. I honestly just want to see improvement on the Warriors game. If we hold the ball and complete sets well we are a chance.

Penrith played a lot better when they were being cocky. In the end it was their extra class that got them over the line.

And it has to be said ... Brisbane seemed to play better without Milford.

Penrith completed at 82% and weren’t poor. The Broncs just played with renewed energy and drive. Although they still lost it shows what can be achieved with a simple game plan and completion of your sets. There’s no reason our big guys can’t rattle Fafita like Tevita did with Kikau. I’m going to magic round Friday and I hope like hell Tge Broncs don’t play like they did last night. Broncs will take a heap of confidence out of that game.

No chance if the defence is not up to par and also limited chance if points stay hard to get so need still a lot more improvement in attacking opportunities also . Tom and Haumole "s inclusion can naturally be a real plus for some better attacking options all things well , Schuster still has a lot more to offer i think , props should be able to get some decent yardage again , just need some effective or better follow up and direction from there Other less heralded halves seem to be able to lift their sides for that ., time for D C E and Foz to do it on a consistent level as well . Titans can be unpredictable and a good side on paper , Manly "s desire to compete as a unit was certainly better last start and will have to be again to be competitive and a chance for a win tomorrow .
