No I actually agree. In most cases the women involved in rugby league television media are purely there for tokenism. And they're always very attractive women, to suit the blokey culture.
Progress is female refs and touch judges. Even many clubs have ball kids now, girls and boys. instead of just boys.
I've only seen little boys at Manly. I wish our club would move towards the future and give some little girl Sea Eagles nutters, just like I was as a kiddie, the chance to collect the footies and hand over the kicking tees to their club heroes.

Did you see Erin on the weekend in the blue top interviewing the players?. She had some serious padded bra going on it just looked wrong, and they were crooked!

The mail is that star halfback Kieran Foran could be back on the field in the near future – as soon as next Friday week against Souths.

Eels sources are saying that Foran is getting his life back together after his recent family breakup and wants to play again.

The Eels’ salary cap drama has only added to Foran’s resolve and he is keen to get back onto the field to help his mates.

Parramatta can barely drop a game between now and August if they want to play finals football – and the know they won’t be able to do it without a fit and firing Foran.

Foran was discharged from St Vincent’s Hospital last Friday after reportedly being admitted for a prescription drugs overdose

To be fair if someone is suffering from a mental illness then getting back into a common routine is often encouraged. I just hope that the way the club handled the situation was not an attempt to place pressure on the NRL re the salary cap penalty (i.e. look at the pressure on players) although with their organisation who knows

Am I the only one that can see the obvious opportunity being missed here by the NRL and Channel 9 ? Surely the game is crying out for a "NRL Celebrity Rehab" show starring Dr Drew and the ever increasing list of NRL players requiring his services. It'd be riveting viewing and would rate its t*ts off. Perhaps Joey Johns and Brett Finch can host it.
