The rumour about our much loved prince is utter bullchit and peeves me off. That rumour was started by a slime supporter on their forum, please don't add credence to that pathetic lot.
As I advised on a previous post I was informed by a work colleague that is friends with one of the current slime players in first grade and it was confirmed by him that Foran issues are around the relationship breakdown and the issue of paternity being questioned.
From what I have been told that yes it involves a former Manly player that left the club at the end of last season.
I won't reveal my source in a public forum but if you are one of the original silvertails or MOD that has been posting for a long time you can PM me.
People need to read the article properly. It is not Pearce making the comment. The Pearce comment ends and then a new paragraph is started, and it's actually Weidler saying he heard the rumour.

Now it's Mitchell Pearce in good mate Kieran Foran's corner
You would think that Mitchell Pearce had enough on his plate in the lead-up to his comeback yesterday, but he took some time out to think of his schoolboy mate and close friend Kieran Foran.
Pearce has climbed off the floor after hitting rock bottom on Australia Day.
He should have been thinking only of himself but, in a measure of the kind of person Pearce is, he wanted to make sure that Foran has his support. After all Foran has been and is in his corner.
"It kills me to think of the pain he must be in," said Pearce. "I've known Kieran since we were kids, he's one of my best mates and I just want to do all I can to support him."
At the start of this year I received a tip-off that seemed too odd to be plausible: that Foran was in a clinic. The Foran I knew could never have been there. Smart and together – a leader of men.
I dismissed it – partly because I was on vacation but mainly because it didn't add up. At all. But it turns out it was spot on.
I made the mistake of judging a book ... and not forgetting that behind that strong exterior he could have been fragile. And is. Foran has ongoing issues and he is doing what he can to address them. That has to be admired on every level.
He is back in a clinic right now, dealing with those issues and more, ones that spiralled out of control in the early hours of Wednesday morning and resulted in him taking too much prescription medication to numb the ongoing pain he was feeling after splitting with his partner Rebecca Pope.
Adding to the stress, Kieran's baby boy Jordan was back in hospital being cared for by Bec. The culmination of those factors was a trip in an ambulance and time in St Vincent's.
Foran was found in his apartment in The Rocks. It is understood a phone call from Bec to his sister Nat and coach Brad Arthur sounded the alarm of how bad Foran's state of mind was.
It's a distressing story any way that you tackle it. One that this column became aware of after we wrote about the touching dedication of Foran sleeping with his sick son in hospital before he played against former club Manly.
It was a genuinely good gesture and the column was written in an innocent manner – outsiders, or those who had greater knowledge of the relationship situation, may have viewed it as a planted story to make him look good to soften what was about to come out.
I wasn't aware of the problems at home. I had also forgotten about the January tip-off. All of a sudden emails and messages came in via social media that Foran had split with his partner and mother of his children.
It's worth pointing out that Foran has been dedicated to his kids. As has his former partner, who has family by her side as she manages to look after two young children.
Foran had a couple of long discussions with me, not moaning about Bec – instead about how he was struggling. The exact content of those chats will stay with me.
What is safe to say is that football was something that was just happening in his life, it was not his focus. He could not think about playing. About training. His coach knew it.
There were small things, like cancelling scheduled appearances onThe Footy Show at the last minute. He just could not concentrate or focus. He needed a break. But he felt trapped by his job and position. He hid his issues – Eels players called me after the news broke to ask 'what's wrong with Foz'.
The public face he put on was brave. The smile was still there and in the last interview I did with him he spoke with clarity, passion and authority about all topics from Brad Arthur to the salary cap but he spoke best about his support of Pearce – a great mate who was coming back to football after his drama and stint in rehab.
"He'll come back a better person and player," he said. Let's hope the same applies to Kieran.
