I find it funny that people think we lost out on Dias because the Panthers NSW Cup signed him and then released him after one season 😂

No offense to the bloke but he’s played 8 seasons of NSW Cup at 4 different clubs. It’s the definition of not cracking it.

I think my point was more the fact that we overlook these younger players for the 30+ brigade. You're correct in saying that he's had a pretty solid crack in reserve grade and hasn't cut it in first grade. But look at someone like Andrew Davey who was a bit of a late bloomer and offered a bit of value. But I guess the key theme is giving players under 30 a run instead of signing 30+ players on the premise that they were good 10 years ago.

So what? Panthers obviously saw something in him to give him a go in the first place. It doesn't mean he can't play. For him to get a reserve grade gig with a consecutive winning premiership team isn't something to be sneezed at. The Panthers replace these players with young and better players , but Manly seem to overlook them for age old pensioners when they themselves don't have the same luxury of a thriving juniors system. Seems you can't see the forest through the trees.

Your point was trying to criticise Seibold by using a professional reserve grader being given a first grade run by a club resting 16 of their 18 man first grade squad as an example of Seibold not giving youth a chance 😂

It’s even funnier that the coach/club you claim “saw something in him” have cut him loose after 1 season 😂

Your point was trying to criticise Seibold by using a professional reserve grader being given a first grade run by a club resting 16 of their 18 man first grade squad as an example of Seibold not giving youth a chance 😂

So why did Panthers sign him then? when they could have signed someone else. Yes they cut him after 1 season. So what. It doesn't change my opinion about Seibold. You seem to think its just a once off thing when its happened time after time.
