My rationale is that while Koula has the speed obviously, he's not really a winger, and as impressive as he's been, Reubs isn't really a fullback.
Koula is a fullback and Reubs is a winger and ideally that's how they'd line up. But I can see Des leaving Reubs at the back and putting Koula on the flank.
Fifita was able to do all that by spotting an out of position Josh Aloiai and burning him on the outside to get into space with momentum. Hard for anyone to stop Fifita from there.
Looking forward to seeing Koula in open space (like Saab last year). We haven’t been able to put him away yet.

Ridiculous Harper and Parker have a mortgage on their spots. What Des is telling the team, is form doesn't matter. You can be as crap as you want, and I'll keep consistently picking you. I honestly hope he has someone over his shoulder giving Des some home truths. In the past, I'd say it was Bozo telling him to stop being ridiculous. Now, who knows?
