Our first spoon could be 2018. But it wasn't. So there.

Parra has had an absolute awful season and yet have won exactly the same amount of games as we have. How is a major overhaul of our whole coaching staff not on the cards. Injuries are one thing but this team is not as bad as they have shown. Worse is that no new signings on the way and less to spend due to cap issues means we are destined for another version of this year next year. I believe it is part of corporate maneuvers by Greenberg and the NRL to rid sydney of a northern beaches club and bring in a central coast franchise. Wouldn't be suprised if Penn is in on it because he will sell the licence for a hefty sum. Like when they buy a pub for the pokie licences and then run the pub into the ground to shift the licence elswhere. Unless a serious consortium makes an offer to Penn that he can't refuse I think we may be toast.
The silence from our owners is deafening ...... nothing.

our only other hope is that Greenberg is punted for a more traditionalist CEO.

They have said it all.

"Its a results driven business"

What else do you expect from them. An apology?
Would be nice though though if they gave us some hope for the future and give us the plan (apart from the annual diorama of the redeveloped Brookie) how they are going to get us back to at least being a competitive club again?

Honestly though, I have low expectations. I don't expect anything from these clowns.

Our record against Cronulla on a whole is pretty good. This game will be a great indicator if we end up with the spoon or not. I know one thing though and that is we will be fighting to stay away from it. I will be gutted if we get the spoon totally gutted.

Really good analogy. What we’re seeing is exactly like buying a pub for the pokie licenses then closing the place. How about, rather than letting these jokers drive us away, we all renew our memberships next year and make it as difficult as possible for them to close the joint?

You know what really pisses me off about this bunch of ingrates?

They spend the whole year laughing it up and getting chummy with their "mates" in the opposing teams who just humiliated them in a Manly jersey.Yet, last weekend and only last weekend the smiles and laughter were gone and thy finally had their "oh ****" moment.

Why did they leave it until round 20 to realise that their team is close to becoming the most disgraced team in Manly history?. You think all these other teams like Parra, Canterbury and North Queensland are going to wallow in pathetic self pity like you have all year?.No, they are already doing one thing Manly are not and that is building a culture for next year given that the 2018 season is gone.

Barrett a failure and every other player seen in a Manly jersey this year who hasn't won a premiership with Manly before, or who isn't a Trobj or a Tafua should be kicked to the ****ing kerb if they don't avoid the spoon, and take those **** coaches and trainers on the bus with you.

If this side wins the spoon they should hang their heads in shame. I’ve seen manly sides with half the talent of this lot fight harder and show more pride in the jersey. It’ll be a sad indictment on the state of leadership in this club (on and off the field) if we finish last for the first time ever. Time for captain courageous to stand up and lead and supercoach to crack out the motivational speeches. We have the talent to beat dogs, Titans and tigers if we show some ticker and desire.
