Sounds plausible because there must be something more to his non selection than one bad game.

I read a report that said he’s travelled up the coast 5 times to stay with his family since Game 1.
5 out of the way family home visits.
Are they comforting him or is he comforting them?
Can’t help but think he or a family member might be battling something bigger than football. Hope he’s okay!!

Rugby League reporters have become more sensitive to mental health issues. I noticed little reportage of Ash Taylor and others in similar circumstances. If it’s a run in with coach or management fair enough, 10 articles. But the reporters do appear to give players space once they find out the players mental welfare is the concern.
Credit appears to be due there

Reports today that several of Mitchell's close family have died recently, which is the reason being given for his poor form.

Strange to see only one regular centre playing ... we are used to fullbacks and centres playing out of position on the wing ... but only one regular centre ..... with two 5/8's and a fullback ...

Can see plenty of attack ... but expecting to see some clangers in defensive reads ,..
