I hope I’m wrong for nsw sake but I think Tom will be a liability in defence playing centre !!! Up against chambers will be very difficult for a player who has only ever played centre for Australia a handful amount of times !!

Glad Mitchell was dropped.. Good player, but he's not even close to being where the media are trying to push him... Keeping in mind roosters have had to drop him a few times in the past as well for his hot/cold playing.. Qld should win this series, with dce Munster Morgan and ponga there, I can't see any combination of nsw playmakers beating them, but certainly not old passenger cleary

NSW can win this. After looking at the QLD side, I take heart in the fact they don’t have any explosive metre eating props in their side. Picking a mobile NSW bench might not be such a bad ploy.

I’ve just been reading a bit about concerns for his mental health and wether he can get himself up for the game. Would explain him being dropped on one poor performance?

I think NSW has panicked. Too many changes.
The one most surprising to me is dropping Morris who was our most effective centre in SOO1, and replacing him with Wighton who had a shocker.

Why oh Why do NSW never ever learn!!! Playing players out of position is suicide!! Big ask for Tom and I have never seen Wighton play centre. Josh Morris did not deserve to be dropped and not playing Latrell is now the albatross around Fittlers neck, massive gamble!!
