The sad thing is that when Tooves was coach, behind the scenes he was being groomed as DCE's long term halves partner. Then along comes a rookie coach who tells him that he's not needed at the club, and that was that.

That same rookie coach was also directly or indirectly responsible for other talent leaving the club at some point including Jackson Hastings, Matt Parcell and Shaun Lane as well as the rather inglorious end to the careers of both Brett Stewart and Steve Matai.

Yep I had long thought that Gutherson would have been a great 5/8 for us with Turbo thriving at the back

That’s what everyone was saying after Gutho blew his knee out the second time. Tedesco too, Mal Meninga, Snake, they all had long term injuries. It’s a brutal sport. Pretty sure Tom will come good and go on to cement his place as one of the best players in the game.

Assuming Sipfluid (Drinkwater) is a Queenslander, he looks like the heir apparent to Delta Charlie-Echo as the Maroons halfback.

Actually, Scott Drinkwater is a Central Coast boy, ex Terrigal Shark I believe, so he’s a Blue.

Also, so how’s Sivo allowed to play, are we still suffering from greenturds, eyeballing/ best guessing/ favour certain teams bull****; isn’t he still on a sexual assault charge in Fiji? Why no automatic, no fault stand down? Or has he been cleared?

Bet when we play the Cows soon it'll be a struggle if indeed we manage a win at all. They've got a better backline than us at the moment.
