Flip, i feel Monas and other serial threads have been debated, and we don't need to prove Mata or vice versa wrong because we all have our own opinion. Most would think he's a fair player for Manly and currently deserves his spot in the team - albeit overpaid. We know, Monas probably knows.

You forget something. The coaching staff and his team mates know it as well, for differing results.

The coaching staff feel obligated to pick him because he is a significant part of the weekly wage bill.

Team mates (particularly Ballin) know he is dead wood in terms of a ratio of dollars to ability.

Therefore it is an ongoing issue and worthy of continued comment, until such time as he justify's the lofty status his pay packet suggest. something that is unlikely to happen until we're rid of him.

Do you know this to be fact or is this an assumption on your part?

All who are on the lofty status pay packet wise have not earnt it barring Kite and he fell short in his first year although he made up for it last year and seems be back into the same rhythm.

As for Ballin, he would be more upset against management than monas since he was stuck behind chad.

LOL, some of your best work Mata

In that case, with all the reports saying Witt was on a lot more than Burns last year, did Witt only play 1 game ? And if that is how NRL sides are picked, how come Sherwin has played 2-3 games in PL for the Dogs ?

I would also assume, yes assume, just like you have done, that team-mates wouldnt be as anal on what mates are earning, and they would know that in terms of our club the past few seasons, he has done a good and valuable job for us. They didnt seem to think he was deadwood the last couple of weeks the numerous times they were running up to him to congratualte him on setting up a try

not just a writer.. hes a mind reader too these days Mata 🙂0

Unless Ballin has told you his thoughts.. which would be unproffessional against a team mate.

Just look at the players responding to Monas... i dont think any of them give a stuff what hes on. Its out of their hands.. as it is out of ours. Move on to another topic.

IMO.. Monas and Watmough are striking up a good partnership.

Monaghan and Stewart also good in combination. Whilst the commentators said our attack was flat at times, I thought Monaghan ran the game really well, and as Stewart said, Monaghan took ownership, and we beat a very, very good side.

Is witt still with us?

Common sense would tell you that people don't think about the size of his pay packet in the heat of battle.

But during the week when they're bored with their playstation?

Is that really relevant ? Week to week last year both were available, and Witt, with the bigger paycheck was not picked. if you point is relevant then all indicators with Monas being picked every week seem to be an indicator he is in Des' plans for next season and it will be another long winter for you mate

I see you are pointing out that reason Witt was not picked was because he was not going to be here next year. Does that also mean Folkes will send Sherwin on his way.
