Morgan Boyle signs

Thank you Ryan
He likes to play in the middle and he has good speed that goes with his big frame .
What does this signing say for Perrett ?

My thought's exactly tbh. Maybe Lloyd is on the move like some have alluded to earlier? More of the clean out.

If he can add some punch off the bench that would be handy as we have a pretty small interchange bench. Wouldn't have cost much either. I know we have more pressing issues in the backs but i'm thinking Des is waiting till next season to splash the cash on a couple of quality backs. I agree with this approach as this season is a plug the hole season with lots of players off contract so Des can make it his team moving fwd.

Love this signing, mentioned on this forum back in 2017(?,I think, can't remember date) that we should target him, he was coming off contract and was disappointed when the Tits re-signed him.Up and coming and will go well.
I remember you saying actually

Des did not like him at the dogs and released him to come to us .
I think Kelepi Tanginoa also needs to lift his game .

Barrett (let's be fair, and give credit where it's due), had Tanginoa going 100 miles an hour, and Paseka (before his inury) was beastly.
They've certainly dropped off.

Agree with Tanginoa, maybe he is a bit tentative due to his knee injuries of late but he has offered little impact off the bench this season.

The 21-year-old forward is the son of rugged former Canberra Raiders utility David Boyle, who played 117 games for the Green Machine in the 1990s.

"I talk to Dad before and after games and he says I’ve got to take it more personally and be more aggressive on the field," Boyle told NRL.com.

"He wants me to hit more with my shoulder and bring the old style back in.

Seems like Boyle and Waddell all have the bloodlines we need to re stock the engine room :nerd:

Sorry mate I wont give any credit to Trent . Paseka and Tangi were no world beaters last season as our team nearly won the spoon under Trent ,
I think Tangi is very one dimensional and very predictable . Against the roosters he was very ordinary and hopefully this will change

He will walk straight into our 17 I reckon. He is actually a good player. Can turn momentum in games
Agree,
Whilst we need centres and outside backs, hopefully with cap relief that can somehow happen.
We also need some more mongrel in our forward packs and hopefully this will add to it and create some depth

Spot on feathered friend . We need more mongrel in our pack if we are going to be feared and dominate

Size does mater . That is what most of the girls say

Bring on the big boys to the Manly pack !!!

Paseka injured his knee in our first trial match this year and has not returned since.

Tanginoa injured his knee in the same trial match and may be understandably a bit tentative on his return, as he did have a similar injury year.

Will wait a few more matches to see how they develop.
