"SHHHHH

Which off-contract backrower has caught the eye of Manly officials?"

Speculate away.

Well there's nothing there to narrow the field other than off-contract. Not rep player or up and coming.

Of the back rowers off contract, I remember us being linked at one time to Tepai Moera, Taumalolo (wasn't much in that though) and I think Finucane. Not much else worth chasing considering who we already have there.

Manly are linked with everyone.Lets not give these gossip columnists any attention.Remember Gillett? He was NEVER going to Manly

I thought it was common knowledge off contract players are being eyed off by NRL clubs.
I am in the wrong job, I should be a sports journalist.
Didn't realise only a select few off us knew this, guess todays breed of sports journalist are only use to players with 2+ years left on a contract signing for the current or next season.

There's a very good red-headed backrower currently playing in Super League who would be more than handy. . .

Glad to hear Nathan Green is going well, he improved a lot last year, if he could have maintained the level like the saints game he would have been a starter.

An experienced player makes more sense than another young'un, of which we now have several, plus we have Bainbridge and maybe Hoppa to come through.

Get Bodene Thompson. SuperCoach gun. Would be nice to be able to add another Manly player to the squad.

Well according to zerotackle

Sitaleki Akauola, John Asiata, Nelson Asofa-Solomona, Billy Bainbridge, Mitchell Barnett, Scott Bolton, Dean Britt, Kurt Capewell, Michael Chee-Kam, Anthony Cherrington, Jack de Belin, Joel Edwards, Adam Elliott, Lachlan Fitzgibbon, Salesi Funaki, Alex Glenn, Jack Gosiewski, Brett Greinke, Slade Griffin, Aidan Guerra, Chris Heighington, Ryan Hoffman, Jacob Lillyman, Kyle Lovett, Jake Marketo, Will Matthews, Tyrone McCarthy, Chris McQueen, Tepai Moeroa, Mark Nicholls, Marata Niukore, Matt Prior, Robbie Rochow, Scott Schulte, Patrick Sipley, Scott Sorensen, Ben Spina, Joe Stimson, Kelepi Tanginoa, Jason Taumalolo, Zane Tetevano, Bodene Thompson, Kyle Turner, Johnnie Walker, Tony Williams, Frank Winterstein

Nelson Asofa-Solomona? Tepai Moeroa?

With Lyon, Matai, Stewart all recently off our books (or at least in 2018), plus a few likely to move on like Lawrence and Taufua, coupled with our high turnover we really should simply be targeting a few marquees

I would love Woods, NAS & Aitken/DWZ/Whare

Pf course Taumololo would be the dream.............but no chance

Off this list Jack de Belin would be handy.
