We absolutely need to hang on to Waddell.
In your opinion. Personally, I think he is better than Parker in the backrow. As for the others, I'd prefer Ben T and Waddell on an edge. Condon is not really an equivalent because he's essentially a prop.he is a better second rower than BenT,Waddell,Parker or Condon.

The Schuster coin must be done if the club are looking at players in a lower price range is my thought.Bag him all you want,he is a better second rower than BenT,Waddell,Parker or Condon.
His efforts off the ball and 1 percenters are excellent.
Would rather we kept Lawton in hindsight, but with upgrades I am not sure that the "Schuster dollars" are all that much now.
Can't disagree about some of those to be tapped,James I would keep as I think he has some upside. The Schuster coin must be done if the club are looking at players in a lower price range is my thought.
With 27 players signed in the 30 for next season already and you could say 28 as I think Hoppa deserves to be in the 30 rather than on a development deal.
Of those signed in the 30 for next season it will be interesting if any of the following get tapped,
-Arthur - doubt he is getting tapped but some rumours he wants more minutes in first grade and the Knights are very keen.
- Parker
- Matterson
- James
- Condon
- Paulo
Lodge, Waddell and Ray Ray no mention of new deals, would prefer Lodge over James.
For balance in the squad they need an edge forward or two depending what happens with a few players, not many teams start the season with 28 or more players the last few seasons.
Lodge was on a player minimum deal this season, say 200K for lodge and 300K a piece for Parker and Lawton, would be fair to say there is 800K there. If Lodge, Parker, Lawton all left that would free up $800-$900k? You’d think they would all be in somewhere between $250k-$350k. Chee Kam would probably be a Lawton replacement for about $200k & Id also try find another cheapy to replace Parker. Hopefully that would leave about $400-$500k + whatever money is left from Schuster. Use that to sign someone that requests a early release this off season
Good call AlSeemed his career early on and particularly with Manly was really set back with regular injuries and despite some genuine ability but also seems to have had a much better run injury wise in recent seasons
Probably has not lost too much of his original above average speed and not doing too bad to be still in a game day 17 and still versatile .
So compared with guys like Condon ,Hank [ unfortunately ], Matterson and maybe to a lesser extent Waddell , could well rate a pretty fair pickup and cap friendly included .
Wouldn ' t rate him better then Burbo but with Lawton leaving, could well be a handy addition but again at the right price
Yeah of course, but 99.99% of them are communicated like facts 😂99.99 percent of this forum is opinion lol.
T B H have seen bugger all of him playing in recent seasons but again the fact that he is presently considered good enough for a game day 17 squad should mean that he still has something going for himGood call Al
