[Resurrected] Michael Chee Kam

He has great strength for his size but can do with another 5 - 7kg's to break into the top grade. The great thing about him is that extra speed to poke his head through the defence & has a brilliant offload. He is another future rep backrower imo but its probably unfair to throw huge expectations on at this early stage.

Stoked to read that he got named in the NYC team of the year. Congrats to the big unit. Im sure a big offseason will see him put on some extra kgs.

He will probably be brought along in a similar fashion to how Buhrer was used. Including sitting on the bench for two games before getting to run on!

MK, not trying to talk him up.
Just looking at the players of previous teams of the year that have gone on to an NRL career. However they pick them, they seem to get most of them right. Have a look on NRL.com, there's a list since 2008 and there's not many that haven't kicked on and many are household names now.
Let's hope he's not one of the forgotten ones, he doesn't need to be a superstar.

OK...maybe a bit.
Have watched a few Canberra TC games just to see this kid in action & he appears to have natural ability in spades.
If he is perfrming like that at Canberra, just feel he will flourish learning from Choc & Gift & maybe even a smokey to have a crack in 2013 in the top 17. From there - time will tell.

I wonder what the plan is with the Schuster dollars??

A stop gap measure on a one year deal is an interesting one, maybe that’s Waddell moving on also.

Gee we can find a player can't we. Waits for the he is only depth and cheap crew to appear. I prefer cheap depth from young up and comers.
The problem Manly have faced the last many years is that depth signings have become regular first graders, due to injury or inexplicable reasons

The way the game is moving. He will probably play prop.

He's a better player than the game time he's getting at Souths. Like it if he's replacing Woodsies in a development spot.

Other wise we need more players still in their 20's.

This bloke scored 4 tries for the Raiders (from memory) in the Under 20's NYC one day from the time it took me to walk from the Leagues Club to Brookie.

That was his career peak.

This would be the strangest signing I have ever seen, if it actually happens.
