Doubt we'd have the funds to chase Murray, he'd probably be on par with Jurbo financially whereas Chee Kam would be cheap backup, I don't mind him filling that role personally

Wouldn ' t rate him better then Burbo but with Lawton leaving, could well be a handy addition but again at the right price

I am not sure what we paid for Burbo and I hope we did not over pay because so far he has been moderate . IMO his overall rating this year is fair and far from dominating
As far as MCK goes it depends if the coach thinks he can get the best out of whats left in his 33 year old body ( he turns 33 February pre season 2025 )
Because his previous coaches keep letting him go
In the modern game the barnstorming meter eater back rowers gets you on the front foot
The club that signs the right prospect will get the right results on the field

Some times it is not all abound funds but all abound finds
There are talented mark 2 young Murrays out there for some one to find
I am not sure why we Keep Players like Parker and Woods in NSW cup
The money can be better invested in more promising young players that would offer more on field dominance
Parker and Woods are nice guys and good role models but they have made no impact in our underachieving NSW cup team .One would think that they would both stand out but they only blend in our losing teams games
Loyalty is all about the love of our club and what is best for our club and this is why our Loyal Legend Beaver Menzies gracefully accepted the Manly clubs decision not to re sign him because it was the best thing for the club at the time

I reckon both would be great pickups although Matterson strikes me as a bit mercenary, perhaps having his brother at Manly might force a change of attitude. I have always liked how RCG played his role, his charges into the ruck have created a lot of damage and he rarely fails to bend the line, his ability to offload is also a desirable part of his game too, I am at a loss as to why the Sqeels have tapped him on the shoulder to be honest

He would just be back up. Will spend most of his time playing for Blacktown unless we are unlucky with. Injuries. Obviously the coach and recruitment team see some kind value proposition here. I had my doubts about Corey Waddell and he has not let anyone down when filling in.

Clearly they are buying 130 games of experience rather than taking a punt on a rookie. If nothing else it seems to fit with our strategy (Waddell, Brown etc) so there seems to be some plan even if we do not agree with it

When Seibs has thrown a kid in grade. They have looked ready. Hoppa, Navale, Humphries even Faulalo. So he's not adverse to blooding a kid.

It just makes me think a MCK might be viewed as doing Woodsie role next year. There is a place for both ends of the experience divide.
