Same with that intercept on his side that Funa and Tom somehow defended, if luckily. Even Tom with his dodgy hammie ran the length of the field in the attempt. Hoppa not so much, not that I blame him for the loss.

Yep I noticed that too.

Hey, at least Tom didn't do his hammy again. And I think a fully fit Turbo would have caught him easily.

80% of those players on Lottoland today will be back next year
Same poor attitudes same who cares attitude Same players who have had 30+ put on us over and over Same coach Des playing one up for a one up game plan
Gunna b a struggle no matter who we buy in 2021 and 2022

It was a pretty **** team performance. There is no belief and the defence was why we lost

In relation to dce trying. Yeah he busts his gut but he is not the brightest tool in the shed
Pressure buildining is his job. There defence was terrible also so he had ample opportunity to kick but just cant help himself to go for gold every time . Its not an admirable quality
Got a repeat set in the 77th minute at first attempt

He does have a go , he is passionate but he just doesnt have what it takes and never will it seems in a salary capped environment

So we can praise him for his tackling or curse him for his lack of ability as a 7. I suppose it depends what you see and of course what you dont see.

If there was no cap, no problem but there is.
Its like having to feed a familiy of 4 on a budget of 100 bucks for a week and spending 50 on beer

You can lament how useless the beer is to a 4yo or you could homer the hell up and stare at beer and never let anyone make fun of beer because beer is good, tasty and beery

Maybe on silvertails its a stand off between the homers and the flanders

For this i stand firmly in Neds camp even though i love beer

THe Endarino

Emotional Trbojevic ‘devastated’ after younger brother’s latest injury

Tom Trbojevic injured in comeback match as Titans towel up Manly

It does hurt me to see where we are as a club at the moment. We were the Storm's equal for a few years there.
Played finals every year since 2003 under Bellamy (barring the cheating punishment and loss of points in 2010). We had some glorious years there, but still nowhere near that level of consistency and longevity.

Marty Taupau was just about the only one who got back to offer any sort of resistance. Hopoate gave up after about 10 metres and didn't bother to chase hard. Harper got blown off for pace and Tom was still ambling back from the in-goal.

That was just about as poor as the night at Leichhardt a few years ago when Benji pulled the Worms pants down.
Since you mentioned blown off for pace .....
Hoppa Harper and the lethargic no urgency Funa are not the answer for a more dynamic back line rebuild.
Parker was great defensively today but unless he gets a pass near the try line to run through a gap he does not have the speed or the agility to run around players and score a longer range try
Lets face it ....How many NRL cubs would the above players break into ?
Croker - ?????? Say no more
Today all those players played their last home match of the year . A game for all those players to step up and all we got was what they were capable of which was not enough to compete at a high level and as a result another thrashing .
Losing is bad enough to take but another thrashing at home is Not Manly .
Some passenger players are sinking the Manly Titanic and Des will go down with it if he does not remove them
Tom was underdone . first game in so many months and his turbo timing was completely out .

Lethargic, no urgency Funa ?

He is guilty of trying too hard.

We watched a different game obviously.

Effective players that try hard get results !
Yes feathered friend I believe we did watch a different game

You can't compare us against a melbourne type club built to succeed by the games powerbrokers. One team City. New stadium. Big membership. Etc etc etc.
We are continually under the pump to be relocated. We train out of demountable offices. We dont have the finances we once did. We go ok considering we are running a 200m against the storm who only need to run 100m.
