Seriously don't get why we played players not going to be there next year. Did it really matter if we won or lost the last 2 games. Guaca should have played, Burbo should have played. To see that game and the ineptness of game management, stupid passes, no urgency in defense. Embarrassing and a disgrace.

That was a crap game. If Croker. Waddell are in the team next I'm going to loose it

People make too much of players sharing a laugh with the opposition after a game.Its good sportsmanship and sets an example to kids.There are issues at the club and those who dislike the smiles after a loss will point to that as an example,but it’s the least of the problems

Smiles? It looked like DCE and Thompson were sorting out a room together at the Travel lodge tonight. You’ve just had 42 points put on you at your home ground. Sure shake hands. Then f@ck off back to the sheds to at least console Tommy and Jake who were shattered. That’s were the captain needed to be.

Did you watch the footage? He was standing with there for awhile. Jai arrow and Wallace and then has a good old laugh with Thompson. While jakey boy is crying dce is laughing 🙁

Totally. Let's sell him as well. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Same at tigers with tedesco. That worked out well.

Im not saying get rid of him, but another season or 2 of this rubbish and its absolutely worth asking the question.. we can keep trotting out rubbish players week in week out while tom sits on the bench, or we could use his 1.2 million for a top flight wing/centre combo.. or a good fullback that may not be at toms level, but plays every game..

Again, im not saying sack tom this minute, I think when hes on, he's the best in the business.. and if he goes, we prolly lose his brothers too, BUT , how long can we possibly justify trotting out rubbish teams that barely avoid the spoon because massive chunks of our cap (which is also the only way to really land solid players) so we can have a multi million dollar player getting paid to go thru uni, but not much footy??

This is what annoys me. Just because of his salary, which again if anyone care's to remember was not actually him holding the club to ransom for it, he was just the beneficiary of a really poor period in our club, everyone expects DCE to be bloody well perfect and lead us to glory week in, week out. Daly busts his gut for this club week in, week out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Its hard to soar like an eagle when you work with turkeys. And right now this squad has a number of the gobblers with a few of them currently playing first grade out of absolute necessity.

I don’t agree with a lot of criticism thrown DCE’s way (or, more precisely, the weight of criticism), but I expect more from our captain after a loss. I don’t need him to be like Jake, I just don’t want to feel that a bad loss is ‘water off a duck’s back’.

Oh great ... we have enough indecision at dummy half and 5/8 already without them not passing it, then claiming if you don't know why they didn't pass the ball then they aren't going to tell you lol

Then again, the girls would probably do a much better job than what Levi and Croker have dished up in 2020.

DCE gives his all.
And is a damn good player.

It is bloody fustrating though, as a fan, when you see your players treating the footy as a job, so openly and in your face.

It is 2020 though, not 1980, and times have changed.....it's harder for us older fans to change with it, especially when times are tough.

The salary is not an issue, all top teams have 1 or 2 players on a million and a couple high hundreds.

Our problem is compounding injuries and players playing as if they cannot win. They seem really down, disheartened and dis interested. Some players play well some weeks, then poor the following weeks. Rarely have we put in a whole team performance consistently. I also think a lot of players look under done or burnt out. We seemed way off the pace today and Titans are not even that good. I'm just going to try and stay positive we sign a couple of much needed reinforcements and have a big off season and come back next year with more enthusiasm and passion and please some luck with injuries
