If I was the Sharks coach that’s exactly what I’d do.

They get a second shot anyway.

I’d rest the stars and do exactly the same as Bellamy did.
Yeah not sure they're going all out to try to get 2nd so they should be resting a few forwards mostly. Can't see the Pennies losing to Titans unless they decide to rest a heap.

Sharks f/a only 68 points better than Dogs. Unlikely but still possible to drop out of the top 4. If the Dogs put a score on the Cows they certainly won't want to rest anyone.

Yes and that’s the perfect reason for the Gummies to rest a few.

Just asking, if we did make the GF, would you put Saab in and take out a bloke that has helped get you there?

Saab will be back in when fit...

Our right edge had a few poor misses against the Bulldogs but nothing to be too worried about.

Yep, if they rest too many we could put a cricket score on them, and if the dogs have already had a good win they will be at risk of losing their place in the 4.

No way will Sharks rest anyone. After their straight sets exits in the last 2 years the last thing they want is to hit the finals on the back of 2 losses.
They have good players returning and Fitzy will prime them for a finals dress rehearsal.
Sharks have been widely discounted as a premiership force due to their soft draw but they are a pretty powerful and experienced side.
I expect a very tough game, neither side will leave anything in the tank.

Would have to expect the Sharks to be competitive for this one and fielding a good all round side
Good backrowers , Hynes back, capable backline .
Key against the Dogs was obviously the pack really aiming up and will also obviously need a repeat of that this week .
Hopefully Manly can stay on a bit of a roll and if their defense is in order , should enable them to be well on their way for a home semi .
Still would not rate that much of a difference between Faulalo and Paulo for a wing spot but most indications again Clayton

Koula to fullback, Faulalo wing, Burbo to bench. Good team list but would have liked to see another hooker on the bench in place of Burbo

Sharks full strength
They have ask edge in the backline
We however on paper have a stronger forward pack and bench I think
Plus home crowd
No excuses
Home final at stake
Manly by 1

I reckon the forwards and bench are pretty even. I’d say our halves have the edge on theirs - at their best. Not convinced about Hynes when he’s under pressure. We need to make life difficult for him. Should be a very close and tough game.

Going to a cracker of a home game
They have beaten us at home the last few times it's never been a better time to get one back on them

There’s definitely something bazaar going on there. Why bring him over if he’s gunna be in Reggies? Surely it wasn’t just to plug a gap for a couple of weeks whilst Croker was out.
I think it must have been. Bit of a shame for him really, for a while there it looked like had made the 9 jersey his own, but then he turned in that insipid defensive display against the Roosters.
