Sensational. Some on here were bagging the small back row when the side was selected earlier in the week but him and brown were outstanding.

I rate Brown a lot more than most people do on this forum, him and Buhrer are a fine partnership. We aren't a team that out muscles other teams on the edges so the size of our backrow isn't that important.

Can't believe there are still Ox haters. Captained a 40-0 grand final win that capped off a Daly M season.

Probably still think Monaghan had the wood on him.

Totally agree. World record GF score...he was amazing.

One thing that has stood out after last nights game compared to others is that Cows and Broncs played it in good spirits.Watching other games and I noticed all the grubby tactics and smart mouthed players like Fifita and Ennis. They maybe leading the comp but they are not a good advertisement for the game

Fifita is the worst. Ennis has always mouthed off but isn't physically as grubby as a lot of others. Fifita on the other hand - has he ever played a ball on the mark? And every time he is tackled, he's trying to trap one of the tacklers in the ruck to milk a penalty. One tonight was given because his rolling and bucking all over the place didn't allow Walker to clear the ruck; he tried it again deliberately rolling onto BJ's arm to stop him getting up, at least the idiot officials saw that one and didn't blow the whistle.

DCE and Snake cost us tonight
If snake actually made any attempt at that high ball and not given away the penalty we would of been up by 16-12 with a kick from the side line

Watching that game the attitude was there and really should really gone on and won that.

But again we come up short.
It's a result driven business and we now 4/7 this season leading into our 1st bye.

TB you are on notice!!
actually in the cold hard light

the ball should have been contested instead of the easy "turn the back" play......and Manly win the game....

so sad but so true

We lost to numbers 1, 2 and 3 to the comp. Put any other team in the comp against them except Melbourne and possibly Penrith and they lose all three games as well.
Excuse making does not wash. Our half back is paid more than Hunt and Milford just about combined, we have 2 back rowers on equal money to Parker and Gillett, and a dead weight prop on more than most.

We appear to have recruited attacking players. Defence is our biggest weakness. We have to improve on the line. When someone scores a try against us and no-one here says "soft try" will we be when we become a potential contender.
Apart from that, great seeing TT and Jake playing with big Sea Eagles passion and in that respect our future looks good.

A loss sure but.....

A massive improvement in the second half. Killer's kicking cruelled us but I don't blame him. He's been great all year and sometimes the radar is just off.

We've got the makings of a good side here and for the first time in weeks I'm optimistic we can make the 8. No way in hell are we going to win it with the ways the Cows and Donkeys are going but our time will come.

DCE was much better in the second half. He's a champion player when he's got the space (We'll just pretend those couple of poor decisions at the end didn't happen)

Vave is a beast.

Tom's best game all year.

Walker has to stay in the centres. Could he turn into a 6 ? Maybe. But what's the point when he's so good at 4 ?

Lewis Brown surprises me. The guy is more than handy.

Will I Am was solid. Wright, except for the brain snap pass, was good too.

Lussick has too much stupid in his game and we can't afford his penalties. Too much like Choc without the talent.

The bye will do us good. Who knows ? We might even see something approaching a full strength side soon.

Pfffft, Milford was offered a Million dollars to stay in Canberra, do you really think he is on 500k at the Broncos? Heck do you really think anyone at that club is paid what their contract actually says?

You seem to think that we should win every game we play and always be top of the table. People need to realize that clubs have peaks and troughs, and we are rebuilding. This year seriously reminds me of 2005, and people were crying for Des Hasler's head then as well.

The Ox may have the love of some but his selfish long-running negotiations that resulted in the club losing players negated any love I had. A real mercenary to the very end. Ranks up there with Dale Shearer for failing to have the club's best interest. I know, it is just a business zzzzzz
