Having just seen the team announced for Sunday kind of gives me apprehension about our chances. I do not understand why you would put Dylan at 5/8 when he is not effective playing there. I would rather Manly go for Hasting on the bench rather than Brown and I think the wrong Wright is in the team. It is TBs neck on the block here. If things do not improve this next week or two he has to make the changes or he is done in my book as coach!!

I really like how you were feeling optimistic before you knew the team and now aren't? Who is / isn't in the team has had no impact on my thinking of how this is going to end up.....

Jacko has a history at 3 Clubs of being a spoiler, Baz clearly stated the length Manly went to by calling in the NRL and RLPA and only months after that intervention 'the final straw' of Jacko attacking Chez at training resulted in his banishment to reserves

TB knows he probably won't last the season , no support from board, totally out of his depth here in the circumstances at present.

He is thinking i will not let the media and everyone else win, I am not going to swallow my pride and say I was wrong and pick Hastings. He is pretty much in a small way doing a des with he saying if I am going to leave this joint let's screw it over in the process.

Now personally I really don't think this case from TB but I could be wrong.

Coaches live and die by team selections, I think its a bit disappointing that TB is so reluctant to pick fresher options. It is pretty obvious that we are unlikely to be playing finals this year unless there is a major turn around. It is wise to put faith in young players, I applaud the selection of Suli and I would have loved to have seen Tommy Wright picked on the wing and Fainu on the bench instead of Brown. TB is doing what he thinks is right, going back to failed selections like Walker at 5/8 baffles me!!

I don't mind the selection of Suli. It is a decision with an eye to the future. Let him get match fitness in first grade as opposed to reserve grade. We can't do any worse!

Plus if Suli fires he is the classic redemption storyline

That is pretty serious and potentially defamatory allegation, so can you please take a couple of minutes to post a link verifying where Barrett says this. I make this request because I have followed most of the stories published about the Hastings saga and haven't heard anything from Barrett about the team casting Hastings out.

He stated that Jacksons manly career is all but over. And also claimed that the players refused to play with him, yet the players came out together stating they had no problem with him. People keep looking for excuses for Barrett but he is doing all the wrong things.

I asked you for a link to confirm this allegation. If you haven't got one and are just repeating a 'story' published by an alleged 'journalist', like everyone else is, then at least have the good grace to admit it.

If he wasn't going to pick Hastings then Walker is probably next best option of what is available IMO. Prefer him to Api or either of the Wrights. Might even work out, who knows. At least we know we will be playing an adlib running game on both sides of the ruck - if the forwards play like they did on Friday they may just create enough go forward for it to work - crazy times
