Doesn’t surprise me...Elgey has been our worst player...by far.

He's been 'spot defefended', and it's been obvious. Opposition purposely run straight at him.

They did the same thing last year against the wing / centre pairing of Parker / Suli.

That said, he's been improving. I like Croker and wish him well. I LOVE that Des is showing accountability. But I'd like Elgey in the team.

Defensively yes, I agree. Attack, not so much. As I said, we lose today, we are no better off win % at 42, than we were under Trent Barrett, who everyone claimed was a complete dunce.

Also, Des only won 42% of his games at Centerbury in his last year, which was the year he was sacked.

Also mate, sorry - winning and losing is the ONLY stat that really matters.

Winning and losing does not tell the full story, its possible to lose games and play very well, it is also possible to win games and play like ****. We are clearly better this year under Des.
