I dont know why but i have a feeling we might see taufua back on the wing. Suli though I always thought he could make a good winger if he got his defence right.

I'm not sure how good Suli will be under a high ball - nor Taufua for that matter. As much as I like Parks in the centres, he'd be better under the high ball that either of them.

Saab probably rates a bit higher than he deserves because he gets a LOT of help from Lionel. One on one he is probably up there with Walker but he gives a hell of a lot more effort in defence than the other 2.

I'm not sure how good Suli will be under a high ball - nor Taufua for that matter.

Both go ok under the high ball uncontested...it's when opponents contest they both have trouble.

So Dylan was the only player that played bad? It’s the monotonous bagging that’s really become boring mate. I get people don’t like him or want him around but it really seems to have become a vendetta against him. There were far worse & underperforming players in the team from rounds 1 to 5…….anyway bag away Lolol!

It seems a bit dramatic to say he was “the worst on the park”. What’s the point? We won by 66, and didn’t let them score. Hard to criticise anyone in the team.

In terms of who is the worst defender, it depends on what context. Walker has played Fullback, 5/8, Centre, and Lock in the last two years. All specialised defensive positions that require different reads and different skills.

You put Jake at centre I bet he would get rinsed, despite everyone on here probably considering him our best defensive player.

According to NRL stats Walker missed ONE tackle against the Bulldogs in 49 minutes. Hardly a big issue. He also had 27 effective tackles, 12 runs for 97m, 2 tackle breaks, a try assist and a linebreak assist.

When you look at it, if Walker does take the field as 6, it could be his defining moment whether he is given a contract.

If he goes out does his role, defends and generally plays well, showing he belongs somewhere in the team all good.
If he crabs, arm grabs, misses tackles and stiffles the attack we have seen over the past 12 weeks you have your answer.
It might go someway to answering the Walker debate

Des has a history of naming the player who WON’T play on Tuesday and “switching” an hour before kick-off in the official team list despite it being the plan the whole time anyways.

I.e Dylan to 1 and Garrick on the wing. Was never happening that game v Cows.

He is about the worst defender in every position he has played.

Centre-Parker/Harper/Funa...maybe he is better than Suli

I guess Walker will be stationed on the right side with Foran staying in his usual left side role.
Will be interesting to see how he goes. His first few years as a centre were on the right, then when we tried him as 5/8 that was on the left, with DCE mostly on the right side.

Anyway I'll enjoy seeing how Walker goes, he's often quite entertaining, one way or another.
