The last few weeks referees have decided to blow a penalty almost every time a tackled player drops the ball. Players from all clubs are milking this now for all it's worth. Nothing spoils a game more quickly. This current game against Penrith typifies what's so wrong about the so-called modern game. You'd swear this match was fixed for Sports Bet or something to see a Penrith win - such a bad look for the game. It's become an ego-driven thing with referee Henry P. trying to prove who's the boss. Penrith should be ahead by 20 at least given all their assistance from the 14th player.
Penrith have just scored a try which is plainly double-handed by two Penrith players. Nice to see the Video Referee is backing his mate Bill Harrigan ... I mean Henry. Maybe they have both have a few bob on Sports Bet - appalling decision and yet again shows that the bunker's video analysis consistently gets it as wrong as on-field officials.
