Game Day: Manly v Panthers [Round 18, 2017]

Ha, you could almost guess this was going to happen, after the week that's been the NRL were never going to let Manly win.

The penalty count is an absolute stich up, and to be honest had we been playing a better side it would have been 28-0!

I can't believe this is allowed to happen in a so called professional sporting game what a farce I mean WTF is happening here so many bull**** penalties and that last try get the fuk out of here he took it off his own player and scored everyone knows it except maxwell the wretched sack of wine
I couldn't believe we kept getting penalised for every time they had a loose carry.

That try was unbelievable they awarded it

Gee that last try was a **** call. Anytime a player promotes (intentional or not) the ball forward to a team mate, it is either an error or penalty.

We haven't been allowed to play.
Baz needs to cost Scotty 10k and highlight this bullsh*t
Our defence has been epic but we've been forced into it by sh*t decisions.
Let's hope for the square up !!

I am watching on an "alternate" stream...with no sound....while I am meant to be working...and watching the kids.

Only saw some of the replay what was the story with their try?

I agree it didn't deserve to be called a try, but the strategy certainly showed up an area we are weak in
I disagree a kick like that is always 50 50 chance with any team. Our boys have been great under the high ball uate has dropped like 2 balls all year but yeah still 50 50 that's why they did it they had nothing. I can't believe that was given it is a joke there needs to be a police investigation into this **** that's your match fixing right there

Is it just me or is everyone else baffled as to how you can take the ball from a player who's behind you and not have it called a knock on or a forward pass?
All of us are baffled by this

Most weeks I read people bleating about the refs and I think they're just a little too one eyed. But THIS WEEK!!!!
Sheesh!!!!
The Panthers figured early that if they couldn't get around Manly then all they had to do was throw it away and we'd be penalised for a strip. Total disgrace.
And that "try"!!!!!
Good to know they're investigating match fixing.
Just hope they're looking in the right place.

To our boys credit, we appeared to put huge pressure on them with our defence. Might not benefit us on the scoreboard in this game, but the defensive work will be great experience for the players brought up to replace. We are keeping a strong line.

Two Riff players caught it, the one let go, the other 'scored'.
As Gaz said, if you knock the ball into an opponent its bad, but having your own Team mate take it out of your hand, when he is in fron of you is worse.
