I'm kinda surprised at how confident some are about this week's match. We talk ourselves up as if we have premiership credentials when the reality is, the best we've managed is 3 wins in a row. I think Souths deserve to be spoken of ahead of Manly. They've managed 9 in a row.

A quality bottle of solace. That's gold!!! I still won't bet against the Sea Eagles but I will definitely be using that line to justify a trip to the bottle shop in the future.

Ah. A challenge.

Well lets see. Why would I think Manly, if they play to the best can win by 20+. Firstly Parra have much the same side they had the last time Manly played them and after Parra was whipping other sides. They won by 22 points. Manly on that day was without Foran and their forward line up was a little weaker, even though we've lost three good forwards for this one.

Its difficult to discuss it statistically as I did with the Storm suggesting a likely 9 point difference. They won by 10 by the way. But despite Moses being back, I don't think Parra has the game style to win unless Manly drops a lot of ball and makes a heap of mistakes. And Manly have been easily beating opposition sides comfortably (sure some weird defeats in there) but Parra have lost heavily the last couple of games against contenders while Manly gave the Storm a serious fright, and they are thrashing everyone else.

So as long as Manly plays as they can its 20+. Gosh dont embarrass me Sea Eagles. I hate egg in the face.

Don’t underestimate the loss of Reed Mahoney for the Eels. Id go as far as to say he’s been their best player when on the field this year and steers the ship pretty well for them.
