The Gold Coast will host NRL matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night after the NRL announced two doubleheaders in a revised schedule for Round 18 due to the relocation of teams to south-east Queensland.

Fuk yeah. Another win for the Blues tonight, and I’ll be doing my best to front up to CBus on Friday night. The perfect Friday would be Titans give Parra a flogging (doubt it, but it’s my dream, so yeah a flogging for faecalmatter ).
Then a huge win to us against the Goons. With Saab getting a hatrick.

I don't want Walker player EITHER utility or halfback. I don't want him playing 5/8 either. I want him playing centre.

Honestly, while Croker has been fantastic this year, I'd actually start Lawton at 9, and maybe play either Cust or Croker in the 14 jumper.

So my bench would be;

14. Cust / Croker (Utility)
15. Tof Sipley (prop)
16. Sean Keppie (prop)
17. Ben Trbojevic (backrow)

I'd play Schuster at Lock (position most akin to 5/8) so he can float both sides of the field. Unlock him. He also has the size.

I’m with you. But you’re talking Walker taking Parker’s spot I presume. Lionel and Saab need to be left untouched. And hopefully with DCE and Shuster playing, they will get some qualty ball so Saab can do his thing.

seriously we are going to get no benefit and play a dragons team out to prove a point.

major danger on Friday and dragons know it. The win they will jump level with us on competition points and if we win we go 2 games clear in 6th. Huge Huge game.

We really need as much crowd support as we can get. Saints have a very strong following up here as well. They need to be shut down with the Maaanly, Maaaanly, Maaaaanly chant.

I think the dragons players will be united as one to make amends for what wrong they have done and that is what motivation an experienced coach like Griffin will use to lift his players from Shame to winning Fame

I hope we can use this game to prove that we are a much better team than we were from that ordinary loss at our home ground to a struggling bottom of the 8 team that we were favourites to beat and lost by 30 -16 lousy points

As it stands currently this is a coin toss game. We could beat em by 40 (if Tom plays) or lose by a similar margin that we did v Raiders. We lose and our top 4 is dead and buried and we are back in the fight for 5 or 6. We win and Gold Coast beat Parra then we are a chance again. Who bloody knows what will happen. I’m just praying Tom doesn’t get injured tonight. If he gets through unscathed he’ll play Friday night. Just hope his personal hammy masseuse is in the bubble as he’ll be working overtime!

Tom won't play regardless.. Sips more than likely ruled out. Barring injury, Chez will back up.

Really hope Des uses Keppie off the bench as part of our front row rotation, otherwise we will be monstered through the middle. Dragons named an all-forward bench, and De Luis isn't exactly a beast

The TAB has the Dragons at $5.75 in a game where it all hinges on whether Tom backs up or not and none of us will be surprised in the slightest if Tom doesn't. I can't see Sipley playing either so just cause someone named that means nothing with Des.

I had exactly the same feeling last week against the Raiders. The Dragons have lost very little the NRL has hit them with a feather for their breaches letting them spread it over 4 weeks.... Have a very bad feeling about this week if Tommy doesn't play as I expect or DCE cops a knock tonight.

With his hammie injury history having him sitting watching for an hour and a half and suddenly being sent into action cold may not be a good idea. Other than that, its not a bad suggestion.

Duffty being out is a real positive. He may not be the best defender but he can cause havoc in attack and turn half-chances into tries. We will win this one, even with Tom out so long as Walker doesn't end up in the 7.
