It's almost impossible to see us winning another game this year. I hope I'm wrong but it's not looking good.

One of the problems with our side is that blokes with no ability like Parker tries hard and gets wraps simply for that . Says it all really. They won’t sack Barrett , we will have same team ... where is the hope.

Insane isn’t it? People think that if they try hard they should be applauded! Wtf? We as manly fans deserve more, expect more. Really really is sad..

I agree with this. We created a lot of chances against the best defensive side and should have run in 4-5 tries. Get that execution right and we will be right in a lot of games.

The Rookie coach now has the eighth worst win loss ratio (40.6%) of the 22 coaches Manly have had since 1947. He is now behind Alan Thompson and is 3 losses away from dropping behind not only Peter Sharp but Tony Paskins as well.

How much longer do we as fans have to suffer this failed tenure.

I don’t like bagging our team, but we really need some better coaching.

We have a few superstars that don’t play as a team.

Marty is an absolute force along with Addin, but we seem to lose the ruck.

Our 900k fullback breaks more tackles than anyone but tries to play like a 5/8 instead of a fullback. Please, please, please Tom run straight and look to whom your passing it to.

DCE. I don’t blame him for the defeats as they are a team, but how the fukc have you forgotten how to put up a bomb? Is that Trent is telling you not to bomb? The other halves are putting the spirals up with rain on them and we are useless.

Trent Hodkinsin was meant to come here and settle our team, lead them around the park and push for repeat sets. Instead he is just pushing the ball into the sidelines or over the dead ball line. Is this Trent’s doing?

The biggest problem we have is that every attacking set starts with indicision. Api is great but he lacks a genuine footballers brain which the best teams hookers have. Take him out of our team and we are even worse.

The Hastings issue I wish everyone would shut the fukc up about.

He is not welcome playing although his is more than capable of playing. Jake will not play along side him, it was Jake that was most offended by Hastings words more than anyone else, as they were aimed purely at Jake anc Tom.

Trent will need to come up with a better game plan, as what is being dished up is now is atrocious.

I’m starting to side with @strone33 in thinking that Trent has no idea how to coach. We have enough decent players to finish in the 8. But we just seem like a rabble if a team.

That's what I was blowing up about too. Of course Matty (I just keep spewing stats no matter what's happening in the game) Russell missed it. And as FOX shows f**k all replays anymore (and if they do, it's in a 3 inch sq pissy box in the corner), it's just let go.

What disturbs me is that Barrett has only now brought Tom Wright into the side. Many on this forum have been arguing that he should have been used far earlier because of injuries to our side, yet Barrett kept picking safe and slow. Sure he needs to tighten up his defence but he is way better than the players Barrett has been using in the back line in Walkers absence. What worries is that we the supporters know who should be in the side better than the coach. Sorry Barrett but though you finally got it into your head to use the kid, you are quickly losing me. The side is still a rabble, and that's a coaches responsibility. Get your act together Trent or get out.

We had two disallowed and should of scored 3-4 more. Thought our attack at least was better than the last few weeks. Dragons defence is good. We let in some crap tries.

If we got our 5th tackle kicking in order and could defuse opposition kicks we would be in a lot more games.

I always thought he would be our utility moving forward. Hopefully will get more game time. Looked good with the ball, gelled well with tom on a few occasions

I am sick of the commentators worrying about the players getting injured for origin. I don’t give a toss about Origin - I just want Tommy and Jake to play for Manly with the same passion they did for NSW the other night .

I have always been a DCE fan ( which at the moment is tough ) but tonight little things are killing us. On 2 occasions in the second half we had created space for Tom Wright and on both DCE pivots and goes back the other way.WTF
Tom W isn't our saviour but when he scores a try like he did then our main man seems to forget he's there for the next 30 minutes is a total crock.
TB and more importantly the entire backroom staff need shifting on. We have no game plan other than the safe kick to touch. Taking that 2 against the best attack IN the comp was laughable...
Turbo has to be told to 'run forest run' and be banned from passing for a month. Again coach has let him down.
The pack is doing all they can but are so badly let down by the lack of attack and structure.
Yes we have a hug amount of talent on the sidelines but with that team TB has to be doing better....

No offence to Barret .but why we gave him the job without letting him come through our junior ranks first is mystifying. I know half oir players are injured or reserve grade standard. But we play like headless chickens.

Why does a coach have to come through our junior ranks to be able to coach us, so you would eliminate anyone who hasn't played for us, that's 60's and 70's stuff, it's our playing roster that's f@#ked

I find it funny you give my dummy spits when yes I may be angry about the result,but I am never giving up on this team.

I always shy away from putting lipstick on pigs and gilding the lily but reality is we played team number 1 with no injuries and with the luxury of having a winger on the bench who in our team w/b 1st picked as our winger
Secondly we have had a ton of injuries and just plain bad luck
Thirdly Our marquee player is down on form and luck
Fourthly I do think our coach is very conservative or maybe even a bit slow but probably still learning
However I really liked wat I saw from Tom Wright and even though Turbo probably needs to straighten up a bit I thought there was a lot to like about our attack but not much to like about the finishing
I think Mat Wright did well even though he isn’t a hooker
TB said he is going to keep pestering the NRL for Manu which if he succeeds w/b great for next year
So although we lost and there was some atrocities in our game and defence
I think it’s an interesting puzzle that our coach has to fit Walker, and Tom W into that back line
I still think DCE goes missing a bit when we r in the attack eg in 2nd half we were on thier line and Mat W had no one to pass to as DCE was loitering directly behind him flat footed, that’s when he has to be on point !!!
Lastly there are some great individuals in our team but Barret has to get them to play as a team, that ingredient is not there atm

Not that i expected much from the presser but judging from Baz’s demeanour you’d think we only just lost that game. I get his point that Kelly got bundled over twice and Thommo again stopped in the line etc but that’s not good enough as it happens every single week.

As much as i agree with Baz that having development players in your cap should be allowed to be used when required but the stupidity of carrying only one specialist hooker to begin with is so short sighted that it’s laughable. In a squad of 30 players you should have two teams plus a couple of extras.
