You can bet the Dogs will turn up with energy, so the result will be decided by what Manly turn up.
If Manly are as hungry as the Dogs, should get away comfortably, but if there’s an air of just turn up for an easy win....could get the pants pulled down like that early season Tigers game.
My tip is a Manly win by 22 with Brian Kelly scoring a double.

All roads lead to Brookvale!
Looks like the Qatar consortium are on there way.

Mate I wish Tom would give Kelly some early ball. He'd be such a weapon one on one against the opposition centre but too often he is run towards the edge or gets the ball with very little room to move.

Same here, but I've got turbo scoring two from bombs out wide (where we should be kicking for him)

True that- I often say during the game - Run Tom Run....like that St George game he would have scored 2-3 times and kept passing.
Then against Sharks he had overlaps on 3 occasions and ran himself when the pass had to go - twice was Kelly, who had open space and only needs a half chance.

We had the same issue with Lyon for a while, he kept getting the ball without any space. Once they went back to giving him early ball he started to carve up defences again.
Damn i miss seeing that.

Walker has done it a few times with good early ball - his try on the weekend was essentially the same thing.

If this game was away vs a top 8 side I'd be more confident. How the fortress has now become a brothel with us coping it from all angles. Dogs by 6.

Fortfail Brookvale.

Funny isn’t it, we can beat top 8 sides away but apart from the Eels in game 1 can’t beat a bottom 8 side at home!!

What a stat that is.

Walker being at 5/8 plays a part in that. He gets the ball at second receiver which gives him a lot more time at the opposition.

API not back this week
Understandable sorry for getting people’s hopes up

Same team again, two weeks in a row , great sign!!

I think its a lack of application. This is one area the coach and players have should addressed 12 weeks ago.

The losses at home are some of the most unacceptable results I have seen in my time as a Manly fan.

I am sure at the start of each season they sit down and say "if we can win 3 out of every 5 games we will make the 8". Then break the season down from there with an expectation of winning 7 or 8 of our 10 Brookie games.

The failure to win another 3 or 4 of our home games means we are in a battle for the spoon instead of a battle to finish in the top 8.

A quick look at home games we could easily have won includes Newcastle 18-12, Cowboys 26-12, Storm 14-13 & Penrith 28-24. Plus being blown off the park by Roosters & Tigers.

Good to see consistency in the side. Only change I'd have liked to see was Hodko out for Brown/T Wright/M Wright but I can see why he'd go for Hodko instead.
