I think you may have a short memory Swoop, as Manly certainly doesn’t fit the mould you are referring to, when he first was in charge.

If Des thinks he has a case, then he’s entitled to sue, just as everyone is who believes they were wrongfully dismissed. Whether any of us agree with it or not, it is his right to do so.

In 2004, with players like Heckenberg, Jye Mullane,Chad Randall, Paul Stephenson, Sam Harris, Albert Torrens, Ian Donnelly, etc wasn't exactly a Top 8 let alone premiership contending team put together by Peter Sharp for Des to walk in and win a title the following year. lol.
Winning against even the worst teams made my weekends. Back then you took any win you could get with that sort of team we had. It didnt matter how we won.
