The first 20 minutes, I dont think Manly got any penalties or restarts right? Despite being several opportunities to give. I think our first penalty was for the 4th high shot on Burbo in the game?

Second half Manly attacking. Played ball 9m out. Shifted it to their left. High shot shows Cobbo retreating. Stops 3 m from line then moves up and takes intercept and runs 95m. Crickets from Atkins.

They can’t and usually don’t, been a big part or more aptly problem in our team for far to long, all the basic principles of ball control, discipline, patience, earning the right, simple stuff thats killing our chances of building momentum and controlling games by playing smart football.

One thing that all the top teams do is the hooker and the halves, bread and butter play, is they time a pass to a big bopper at full throttle who hits the line.

Our big boppers always seem to have to generate their own pace.

It's no wonder they rarely bend the line, and rarely get offloads playing like that.

Yeah, Cobbo was never on-side when he took that intercept but no one said a word about it and "The Bunker Boys" (the exciting new musical from the team that brought "Uncle Nick's Plaything: The Shayne Wayne Hayne Story" to life on Broadway) gave it the all-clear in about 0.002 seconds.

I don't normally agree with lots of your comments Mark, but this one I'll make an exception. Really can't see us putting in a Parra type comeback, when they got smashed by the Cowboys, then next game come out and beat the Riff.

We don't have the game to do that, we're too slow defensively and terribly disjointed in attack, both parra and the drizzle will smash us, our game is not for '22, it belongs 12 - 15 years ago, we're simply pedestrian

Happens every time we get him, we can thank AFB for his dislike of us although to be fair he was hardly endearing himself to us all before AFB's send off against the Knights, we need to lift our game because this isn't the last we'll see of him reffing us this year
