As long as their managers dont start putting silly ideas into their heads...but I dont think they would fall for any of that malarkey, they strike me as genuine, hard working guys who probably seek advice/final approval for big decisions from their parents, rather than be sold a load of bull by a used car salesman of a manager.

Their old man Mr.T definitely won’t let it happen.

Few points.

What could be proven by NRL if their old man did get a very well remunerated position at URM?

Secondly. I was trolling thru post from back in Sept 2007 last night and there were a few about Brett Stewart and the contract he was about to sign that would put him in the top earners of the NRL on a whopping g $370000 per year. So we are 11 years down the track and it's now $1 mill plus to be a top shelf earner. Given Tommy is 22 and still has a good 10 years + barring injuries ending his career early what will he end up on? Could he be a 2 or 3 million dollar player at the end?

Thurston, Lockyer, Hodges, Parker, Kimorley . . .
I was referring more to people who are supposed to be journalists as a first profession as opposed to past players.

However, you make a great point and it doubles down on the fact that it is almost impossible to get factual unbiased reporting on the game at present.
